Thanks.

I'll bring the coupon along during my next trip to see if I can succumb to a moment of Dragon Age weakness.

...so it can laugh at you from the pile of games you'll never play.

Sort of like Valkyria Chronicles mocks me.

Totally.

Pikmin for $5? I loved Pikmin. I'll totally get around to it.
Saints Row 2. $10. Sold.
What's that? A B2G1 at TRU?!? I'm in.
Mad World? I bought Mad World?

My videogame "unplayed" pile is starting to rival my Blu-Ray "unwatched" pile.

I'm toying with the idea of returning Bioshock 2 to just focus on the pile. Plus Borderlands is eating up all my gaming time.

Hoping Fallout 3 isn't still on the pile.

It is. I played for a week and dumped it so I could get the GOTY edition, which I did. Haven't gone back yet.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

My unplayed pile is obscene. At least I consider it a minor victory that I was able to pass on the $20 Brutal Legend deal at Best Buy. That was the last thing I needed to buy.

It's like a turn-based Borderlands with a marginal shooting engine but a great story...and it's ambitious as hell.

Get to work on that one, mister!!!!

FO3 is in my pile too. I started it, but got distracted by Borderlands and other stuff. Queue is drying up and I'll get back to it soon, but I'm going to have to start over.

haha, that's still in my unplayed pile from the Target clearance.

Don't worry, I'm just as bad. I jump on most of these deals I post and I think my unplayed pile is LARGER than my blu ray collection (well, maybe not that bad, but close)

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

The worst is when you jump in on a game because it's on sale... then by the time you play it, it's already been clearanced out or became a GH title.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

If you have an unplayed pile full of deals than it's not as bad, IMO. But if you pay full price or $5-$10 off just to put it on a pile you'll play eventually...that's bad.

If I buy a game, I buy it to play.

Bought it last month, three digits in, several main quests left, several side quests left, several DLC quests left. Probably a couple dozen hours to go.

Granted, I like to explore a bit rather than finish everything as soon as possible, but still: Block you out some time, sir.

You pretty much have to play it in VATS, because that shit don't work.

Just saying.

I have a week off coming to me in March, but I think I'm going to give Kingdom Hearts a spin with all the YLOD talk in the PS3 thread.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

This might not be a good deal for some, but MS 4000 point cards are on sale at Amazon right now for $40. I never seem to find particularly good deals on them, so I bought one at that price. The 1600 point cards are still $20.
