Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Turns out the $30 GCU discount extends to the next week (11/2/14-11/8/14) as well for those who want to pick up Call of Duty Advanced Warfare and not anything coming out next week.
Also there will be a 50% bonus for video game trade ins that week. |

It's a $30 bet I'm willing to take but I had no idea they were in that bad of shape. I actually prefer Best Buy for my appliances than any other B&M or online store. They do a good job price matching sites like Amazon. I'd be bummed if they went out of business.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
So GCU just good for games $40 and more right? Also what does new games mean. Only ones released the same week? They have a limited list of games that will be valid for it? Not sure I'll get mileage on these then, but still thinking.... Thanks.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Just make sure any time you buy a game in-store to pay attention when they ring you up because the discount doesn't always work in-store. And getting it applied manually is a really fun experience.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I've never had any problems getting my 20% automatically applied with any game purchase I've made in-store or online -- and I've bought a LOT of games there in the past year.

Thirded. Never once had a problem with the discount.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Thanks for all the tips. Now leaning on getting the GCU.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
We're going to be getting the GCU tomorrow... just deciding which new game we'll get. I'm thinking of getting Hyrule Warriors.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Metro Redux for X1 and PS4 is on sale at BB for $34.99. Of course it is just under the eligible price to get the GCU deal. -rolleyes- However, it is $28 if you do have GCU. :D

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas just hit the Xbox Live Marketplace incorrectly listed at $3.74 rather than the $14.99 price that was announced. They seem to be aware of it because the transaction errord out on their mobile site but I was still able to get it at that price via the console itself about 10 minutes ago.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Works on the website as well.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Couldn't find it on the website, but did on the 360. Thanks
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
is it updated in any way?
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Better graphics, achievements. Neither mentioned in the game description though.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Cool. $3.74 is worth that one with the HD.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
