There's nothing to "maximize" by waiting. The $30 just extends the membership. I'm good until Sept 2016 because I had just renewed my membership before the policy change. You'll be good through Feb 2016 regardless of when you renew.

It says it's for 2 years. So if I renew today, it will last until 12/18/2015.

If I wait until 2/09/2014, I'm good until 2/9/2016. So, if February 2016 is once again the best gaming month ever, I'm covered for the first week or so. At least that's my thinking.

Nah, it just adds 2 years to your current one. I renewed last week and according to my profile, I am good thru 2/11/16

This is exactly why I'm going to wait. Why redeem it now if I'm already receiving the benefits up until February and the coupon expires 2/10/14? Like Raul says, the best time to take advantage of this offer would be the first week in February so you maximize it's benefits.

Well, I didn't think I was a member. I signed up for their Gamers Club back in February of 2011 and got 1yr of their magazine. My sub ran out February of 2012 and I didn't renew. But apparently, for some unknown reason, I'm getting the benefits of being a member of the Gamers Club because I'm getting the 20% off when I purchase new games and I received a letter, with the coupon, in the mail over the weekend.

Edge of Time and Shattered Dimensions are going for pretty cheap. They any good?

I really enjoyed Shattered Dimensions, personally, especially the Noir segments. I don't think anyone, anywhere, liked Edge of Time.

I got the extension thru Feb 10th?, but when I redeemed the 2 years, it was 2 years from the day I redeemed it, not Feb 2016.

Good luck finding a Zelda 3DS bundle at Target. They all got cleaned out in the two $150 deals.

I haven't seen anything that excludes categories of items. The presser made it seem like everything that was on a shelf in the store was 10% off.
