Not much of a "deal" really but tomorrow is the LAST DAY to get Marvel Vs. Capcom games from PSN so the games and DLC's are 50% off. The rights expired and Capcom was not able to renew with Marvel.
So it's the last chance available to get the Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins (2 games - including the first), Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (the most famous), and the add-ons (costumes, additional characters in DLC form) for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Ultimate Edition.
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 for the PS3 is now OOP so that is something to get sooner rather than later if you still don't have it. (This includes myself.)
It'll cost $29.95 to get everything needed from PSN before it's all removed tomorrow... a bit less if you have a PS+ account.

Is there any different graphics wise between the ps3/360? I kinda hate to play fighting games with the 360 pad lol. Tried that previous SF games and couldn't stand it.

The value pack has just about all the alt costumes. The other packs are just alt costumes for a few characters. Just buy the $5 Value pack and be done with it.

Thought this was a decent 360 bundle deal over at Best Buy. For $199 you get 250GB slim console, Halo 4, Darksiders II, Tomb Raider and Batman: Arkham City.

I figured, for $5, why not? It's worth it for the novelty at that price.
I assume if you already have the Jill and Shuma-Gorath DLC from the original game, you don't need to buy them for UMvC3, right?
Also the description of the Value Pack warns that it doesn't contain alt costumes for Jill & Shuma-Gorath, but I can't find anywhere else that does. Maybe they don't have alt costumes?

I was going to, but I tend to blow $5 or $10 here or there on stuff like that, but I honestly probably wouldn't use it enough. I do have the DL packs because I own Fate of Two Worlds because I actually just got into it over this recent summer and have been looking to grab UMvC for a while now. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they translate over to UMvC.
I read on CAG that the alternate costumes for Jill and Shuma are included as part of their download for each character, I can't attest to that because I haven't gotten to check yet.

Thanks. Interestingly enough, I finally figured out why the store didn't show me as owning the two DLC characters : Buying the LE gave you a download code for both characters, but they're only available for purchase individually. Like redeeming a Rock Band Track Pack code wouldn't show you owning the included songs in the store, I guess.

If anyone got the $10 off email from Best Buy for doing an in-store pickup of an online order over $100, use the code ASAP. It is actually worth $50 off. The cashier called the manager over when it rang up as $50 off and he told her that they're all ringing up as $50 off and to let it go through.

I got the same thing in the mail on Saturday. I was going to redeem some time this week but my last two orders I've placed online has the 20% off applied to each new game and it says "Gamers Club unlocked" under the price of each game. So it seems like I already have the membership activated without having to sign up for it?

Well the coupon the rest of us got expires at the end of this month, are you sure you aren't mistaking the coupons expiration for the expiration of the benefits should you choose to activate them?

It wouldn't surprise me that Best Buy fucked up the dates on the coupons. When I got my batch of coupons in the e mail for renewal, the coupons said they expired at the end of November (and I got the e mail in December). When I e mailed them, she said they actually expire at the end of January, and not to pay attention to the expiration date on the coupon. Go figure

Yeah, the coupon sent by mail says 2/10/2014.
I'm actually thinking on waiting until February, so I can "maximize" its benefits. I'm not interested on buying any new game this month, not sure about January yet.
