Check your local Target. There have been many $5.98 clearance sightings around the country. All five Target stores in southwest CT had copies available for $5.98 just last week.

Just want everyone to know that Gamestop is selling 1200 MS points for 9.99 plus tax. While not as good as the switch bait deal that target had over BF, still you can't be the price.

Besides the Worms Revolution point card, there's also this one:

http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/gam...-points/106116

Each product says this:
Important Information:
This is a purchase of Microsoft Points. You may redeem the Points for the content shown or for other content available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The number of Points required to redeem the content may change, and you may have unused Points after redemption.
So they're basically branded MSP gift codes.

I wouldn't recommend ordering both at the same time though. I did that and it took almost five hours for the codes to come through via email. However, while waiting I placed subsequent orders for the Worms Revolution point card, and got the redemption code instantly on the confirmation page.

Bought one of each, and both codes were on the confirmation page.

Walked in, bought 10 and they all rang up correctly. What bait and switch are you talking about?

You obviously didn't see my post about it. Some stores would only sell you the ones that had the very specific picture in the ad for the $9.99 price. I found a bunch that were the 1600 point cards, but not the same picture on it and they refused to sell them to me at the price. I argued with a manager about it for 10 minutes. Some other people had tons of luck getting those same cards sold to them with a manager override. The whole thing was a cluster fuck.

In the chicagoland region all target ads stated that the white background with green lettering were to be sold for $10. Come Thursday at opening I was told that the decision to replace it with the 3 month card was made that Thursday morning.

All the targets I visited that Thurs. evening and Friday refused to sell me and others the 1600 for $10. When things happen in retail it becomes a hit or miss if you can find someone willing to go with the old price.

I price matched at Wal-mart with the Target ad and never stepped inside Target on BF.

Did you try price matching at Walmart later in the day after the crowds died down? I was able to price match a bunch of cards there with a copy of the ad.

So you're the dbag!!

There was a dbag price matching at 8pm on BF at Walmart. He had his phone out and Target ad, and other stores ads.. Talk about making me want to punch him in the face. Not the time to do that crap when the line is 100 people deep.

Nope I was at a Walmart in Texas at 6pm on BF. No one was in line but I did have the ad. The employee was shocked but happy to price match. Offered to let him keep the page of the ad for himself but he figured that they wouldn't let him do it.

I'm sorry to hear that you missed out. We have around 8 walmarts within 30 min of my house, so it wasn't so much an issue around here. I know a lot of people in nyc got hosed on that deal too.

No I agree.. They allow it.. but holding up the line for 20 minutes is pretty disgusting when you have 1000000's of other people waiting to checkout.

I wasn't actually calling Shumway out...

I was actually more pissed at walmart for 1) allowing PM'ing on BF, or 2) not having a better plan to accommodate the masses. Total chaos every year and they've yet to figure it out.

If they would have hinted about that the other day then I wouldn't have even bothered checking today. What a worthless GB day for video games.

Except that the Zumba ones are done at 1pm PST. Doesn't mean the deals are any better, but it's not all Zumba.
