Far Cry 3 & Assassins Creed 3 are only $24.99 at newegg. It's challenging getting links on a mobile device.

Should I get AC3? I tried to play the first but got bored with it. However, this one looks cool and excited about being a pirate in AC4. Will I miss much of the story? Or just read about it first.

Read about it. And play AC2 instead.

This. Part III, for lack of a better term, sucked balls.

Is Disgaea 3 an Atlus game? Not being sarcastic, just can't check right now, but I thought it was.

Some Disgaea games were published by Atlus.

Disgaea 3 was not.

Don't listen to anyone that says AC III was bad. It wasn't as good as AC II, but it was a fun gaming experience.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Does AC3 continue the story from the previous ones? Meaning, AC3 picks up where AC:R, Brotherhood or whatever left off? Or is the general theme of the series (Animus, Templars vs Assassins) the only thing that carries over?

I know the first one had Desmond and then at some point it switched to Ezio. And I'm pretty sure this guy, Connor?, is new as well. I'm leary of Googling it right now as to not be spoiled just yet.

Thanks

Desmond is the dude using the Animus. He is the connecting link in all the games. Templars vs Assassins is what the series is about. The meat of the AC2 games was Ezio's story. The first one was Altair. AC 3 is Connor.

They're all Assassins and they're all ancestors of Desmond.

Desmond was the worst part of all the games, IMO.

If you are in need of a wireless headset, this seems like a pretty good deal: http://www.amazon.com/gp/socialmedia...&tag=-10-15-20

Basically, you have to tweet out a link to it the Turtle Beach XP300 headset, then they add a promo code to where you can purchase it for $89.99. I think it retails for double that, IIRC.

Both Best Buy and Amazon have Doom 3 BFG Edition for $19.99 currently. That's my breaking point.

Your initial typo reminds me of a joke. What do you call a monkey in a minefield?

It was typed as Boom 3 for only like 30 seconds before I corrected it. You must be fast with that refresh button!

Farming Simulator, when Farmville just isn't technical enough.

D-e-a-D. Oh well, I'm holding out for the trilogy on a good sale anyhow.
