Picked up three 1600 cards a little while ago. Pointed out the ad, price override, done deal.

Hit my target but they wouldn't do the deal. Typical brilliance like "those cards are for 'xbox', and the ones you have are for 'xbox live' so they are different".



Was able to PM 3 at Walmart, no problem.

I ventured out since this was a deal that I couldn't pass up especially since I need some points. I ran down to my nearest Target with the ad in hand expecting some trouble but the manager walked up, approved it and I walked away with 10 cards. They had tons of point cards available so I am assuming they hadn't had a huge run on them (or they just had a ton in stock).

I thought about buying some more but my Live buying habits have died down and 16K points ought to last me a good bit. It was kinda tough not throwing down another $100 for 10 more but I made myself walk away.

I love that MS points deal. I purchased 7. Had no issues, didn't even need a manager to come over. Handed the cashier the ad and he made the price change himself. Awesome!

Damn those are some great deals! Does the store update stock frequently? I don't wanna keep refreshing every five minutes

This is what infuriates me about the sales. . They didn't have any of the cards but found me a store that had 128 of them. I hit hat store and see 4 of the point cards on the shelf so I grab them and take them up front. They refuse to sell them to me at the 10 dollar price point because the picture on the point card was different than the ad. So I'm trying to use logic with the manager and tell him the exact same product just a different picture but they still refuse to sell them to me at that price. Fucking horse shit

Went to Target. Grabbed some 1600 point cards, took it to the register. Some snotty kid told me they wouldn't sell it for the $10 price. I asked why, he said because the one I brought up was a different product than the one they were advertising. I pulled up the ad, showed it to him, same exact product. He argued they had different product IDs. I asked to see the manager. Manager came over, said they would sell it for $10, and made some sarcastic comment to the snotty kid. Got five cards, four for me and one for my roommate as a stocking stuffer.

First rule of retail, customer is always right. Try to price match it at Walmart. Some have had luck doing that.

Target has a deal for Little Big Planet Karting for $25. But on top of there, there's an app called ShopKick that if you have it on your iOS or Android phone, lets you get a $10 off coupon, bringing the price down to $15.

Unfortunately my nearest Target was sold out, and I didn't feel like searching around town for it.

Went back to Target and grabbed some more point cards. I asked the guy in the electronics section if they were $10 and he said yes but they would have to manually adjust the price. No problem.

I picked up four games this weekend. I only planned on one but, well...

I'll be excited to play Borderlands 2 a.s.a.p. because that's what it appears the PS3 gang is up to these days while I'm out there star chasing on Battlefield Bad Company 2 but if I recall correctly, some of you PS3 people have DI and RDR so I might fire those up a little bit over Winter Break to get a feel for them and then see if we can do some multiplayer together, yes?

Yeah, unfortunately you are definitely not going to win that battle when the product does not ring up correctly and then also does not then match the picture in the ad exactly. That sucks, sorry to hear about that Deftones.

I picked up the $199 PS3 deal, finally getting a PS3 after only having the 360 and a Wii this generation. Looking forward to finally playing Uncharted and also bought the God of War Saga for $15, so i'm happy to play the PS3 exclusives that I really wanted.

I really wanted to buy Dishonored, but with all those other new games on top of already playing Black Ops 2, it would probably just sit on the shelf for months.

Nabbed that deal as well! My PS3 took a shit back in June after 4.5 years of continuous use. I've been holding out for this week since then and I'm glad I did, cause I can't wait to have my favorite BD player back in use!
