Yeah, I just realized that too, thanks. Now to decide if I really want to order Doom 3 BFG or not...

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Thanks guys for posting that NewEgg code. I was tempted to use the code on games coming out this fall (Borderlands 2, Hitman: Absolution, Assassin's Creed III, and Resident Evil 6) but my backlog is bad enough as it is. I'm certain most of these games will be on sale during Black Friday week, I'll get them at that time.

I did use the code for the following:
The Last of Us (PS3)
Splinter Cell: Blacklist (Xbox360)
Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox360)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (Xbox360)

I'm tempted to use it on Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider, but they're so far out I'm hesitant. If Bioshock has a CE I'll be down for that one, and I'm not sure if TR will be worth a launch day price, even with a $10 discount.

Is there a better deal for Halo 4 anywhere? Looks like Amazon doesn't have credit deal at this time.

Microsoft store gives you a 25 dollar credit off next purchase. If you order by today, and use code EMCNBNG58...newegg has it for 49.99

Don't forget the $100 version comes with the first 3 DLC packs. Something to keep in mind.

For those of you who haven't sold your Wiis yet, Skyward Sword is $15 at Best Buy this week (you have to be a free game zone member).

I gave Skyward Sword a few hours... nothing to see there, even for $15. The game is ugly and controls are abysmal. Listen to edstein.

Was at Best Buy and held the game in my hand. In the back was a shot of Link on a ball....I can only imagine what the fuck that entailed....

I've heard it takes a few hours to get the controls down, but once you do it is really fun. That said, it does trade to GS for $18, so if you wanted the cd for free, there you go.

Wal-Mart has Assassin's Creed III (360) Pre-Order for $14.98 right now. Might get canceled, but I placed an order anyways.

I did too. $18.20 after tax and release date shipping (saving me from actually going into a Wal-Mart, :shudder is well worth it. Plus this has DLC instead of Amazon's nearly-pointless steelbook, though it looks cool.

Amazon has MOH: Warfighter-Limited Edition at $52.81 now. This also has the Battlefield 4 Beta and comes in tin case.

And yes I ordered it to fill in October since Borderlands 2 is September and Halo 4 is Novemeber.

After the last Metal of Honor game bombed both critically and in sales, you have to have some serious faith to preorder the sequel.

I really didn't mind the last one though I did get when it was around $25. It had some good moments butr I din't get into the MP any.

However I think Warfihter might be way better. Ill be using the all new Frostbite 2 (as Battlefield 3). The last one used a modified Unreal 3 in SP with Frostbite 1 in MP. Dice will handle the MP and Danger Close will do the SP missions.

Best Buy is having another video game blowout starting today. For anyone that hasn't picked up Rayman Origins, $9.99 is a no brainer.

Yeah, I have to admit that's an easy one. The only other one for me will probably be Dead Space 2.

Wish their site was cooperating at the moment though.
