the cheap kindle fires are great since they have Freetime. its a parental control mode that works pretty well (at least better than any that i've seen for iOS devices). my 8 and 10 year old kids havent figure out how to get by it yet

I also downloaded Bookworm Heroes which has a lot of promise. Think Puzzle Fighter except crossed with Boggle instead of a match-3 game. You build words from a 4x4 grid of tiles and do damage based on tile point values. Unfortunately I've started about 10 games against randoms and only completed one all weekend. Seems lots of people are checking it out but not sticking around to finish games.

anyone play the MMO Celtic Heroes? We just bought an iPad, for my son mainly, but I did a search for some games and got this one. I haven't spent alot of time with it, but it is pretty cool. I have never played Everquest, but it gets compared to that alot from what I have read on the net.

i have the MMO Order and Chaos on my android phone, but I don't want to buy it again on the iPad.

There have been a bunch of turn-based dungeon crawlers lately, trying to be the old boardgame HeroQuest.

Mighty Dungeons shows promise, but bored me quickly. I just downloaded Dark Quest HD, on sale for a buck, and I think I'm going to love it.
