Star Wars: KOTOR (aka the best thing to happen to Star Wars since The Empire Strikes Back was originally released) is now available on the iPad for $10. I don't know if it has any extra content, but I'm tempted to grab it.

Just getting back into the iTunes App Store after staying away for a long time (got a new 4th gen 32 GB iPad to replace my old 16 GB iPad 2 which never had any space for new games). Shopping around for new games. Man, they've really ruined iPad gaming with IAPs haven't they? It seems nearly impossible to determine which games are actually complete and which are just awful soul-crushing grinding until they break your spirit and force you to make an IAP. Even the reviews seem contradictory. It's pretty depressing. Beyond Pop Cap, I don't know which game makers I can trust anymore. Gameloft seems the worst though. What the hell happened to Dungeon Hunter???

Disney, EA (though EA has their own issues with moble games, especially on Android), the people who made game dev story have a few other good games, Zen pinball (obviously lots of IAP, but they are real DLC), Rayman Jungle Run, Plague Inc (can do IAP, but it is pretty easy to avoid), Fieldrunners 1 & 2 (2 has IAP, but not needed).

The new Kingdom Rush sequel is out. If you like tower defense games, the first one shouldn't be missed.

I'm bummed you can't find Sword & Poker anymore. I thought there would have been multiple sequels by now... not the game entirely removed from the app store.

Thanks for the feedback. Kingdom Rush 2 was one of those games that look like your $5 won't buy you anywhere near the complete game. It's disheartening.

I have no problem with IAP in F2P games, but if I pony down $5 for a game, everything better be included.

Yep, and I think it was just recently that it briefly reappeared.

It's happened at least the last 2 years, I think it's when their developers account expires.

The IAP is exactly like the first game, completely optional heroes and weapons that you don't need to win even on hard difficulty.

I always wondered : why does Apple list the Top Grossing Apps? I mean I get why you list the Best Sellers -- they're the most popular games and often the new hot sellers and sale games. But what does the list of Top Grossers tell you? Who sells the most IAPs? Is it a good thing or a bad thing if you see a game you want or like on that list? I have no idea.
