Since they are free I'm just adding them to my iPhone's pile of shame. I actually try some of them for a few minutes just to see how they work. And in one case I just read the description before downloading and saw that it was kinda like an RTS game and decided not to download it.

Like you, I rarely make time to play anything but The Creeps, I can't not play that game.

But as a pessimeist and a hoarder, I can't resist free. I have a few hundred games in my app library ready for use if I ever go broke and can't afford real toys, or get tired of The Creeps.

Same here on all fronts. I have played the crap out of the Creeps. I also play Sword and Poker a good bit.

Mega Jump is free today only. Haven't played it, but it was a top paid app yesterday, and those big sellers almost never drop to free, so it's probably worth getting now.

If you're at all a fan of games like Galaga, you need to get the free game War Blade. All kinds of awesome.

Crush the Castle and Traffic Rush are free today. I think both have been mentioned in this forum before. CtC is lots of fun.

Well, I check this forum daily, I just never think to look in this thread. Subscribing sends things to your email right? I don't like that too much.

You can do "instant" emails or a daily digest.

Battleship is 99 cents today, my work partner bought it, so I did too, figured bluetooth matches might be fun.

IIRC the instant emails aren't instant per post necessarily - you only get one until your next visit, no matter how many posts are posted in the intervening time. Makes it a little more manageable, unless you come back and check immediately, in which case you'll get another instant notification at the next new post.

I did get Crush the Castle, I like it so far but I don't know what sort of longevity it will have, I'm in the second county and am already a little bored.

Sword and Poker 2, though, was worth buying, as was Dungeon Solitaire, imho.

Thanks for all the info. Right now, I'm addicted to Angry Birds (me and the rest of the internet apparently) and Traffic Rush (thanks Trevor!). The only thing about Traffic Rush that sucks is it can be hard to see the motorcycles at times.

For the German board game fans, Carcassonne for the iphone finally came out yesterday for $4.99. Check it out here.

I've only played one game against the computer, and messed around with the solitaire game, but it seems like an excellent port so far. The iPad version will come later and will be a free upgrade.

How many here are going to be updating to iOS4 on their iTouch?

As it will be free, I will be. I haven't jailbroken mine, so folders will be a nice addition.

So is this still going to have free ipad support when they finish with it, at which point they'll up the price to 9.99? Or did they change the plan?

I'll buy it for 4.99, but if I have to buy it again for the ipad I'd rather just wait.
