From what I've read if you get it now, the ipad version is free. From what I've heard, it still looks good zoomed on the ipad.

i dont use alot of the jailbreak features.. but folders and the extra column and extra icon at the bottom (customizable) are very nice..

i guess i can settle with just having the folders for now.

Yeah, I downloaded that. It's four tables, all free (unlike the other recent freebie where you get one table and have to pay $5 each for the others). Great deal even if it's not the best pinball game in the world.

Just have to say I downloaded Carcassonne the day it came out, had only vaguely heard of it, and I must say it's probably one of the best games I've downloaded for the iDevice.

Lots of popular games free today including Puzzle Quest and Empires at War.

Isn't Puzzle Quest always free? It is just a couple levels and then you have to purchase the rest of the game in-app - or so I thought.

Sort of, I think a limited version of episode 1 is always free, but today the full episodes 1 and 2 are free. It's today's app on one of the now several 'freeappaday' (and slight variations) sites.

I just use the free app PandoraBox, which tracks ALL apps on sale. Quick and easy way to see all those various site freebies and the~ 50 others that go free every day. Several other similar apps, I use BargainBin as a backup. I also track 50 or so apps on each app, and they'll give me pop-up notifications if they go on sale.

Puzzle Quest for free is awesome (I paid for it way back when). It controls better than the DS version IMO.

Has anyone else installed IOS4? It's available for developers and now that Itunes 9.2 was released you can download the new firmware from some sites. Or you can wait until the Monday for the official release for everybody.

Anyway, there's a GameCenter application there, that's going to be something like Xbox/PSN. We should maybe create a new thread for this, but in the meantime post your accounts here so I can add you as a friend in GameCenter.

Accepted. I loved that it showed the notification in my phone. I was going to open another application and saw that there was a number one in GameCenter.

I doubt I'll be playing much of anything until my new phone arrives next week. I just loaded iOS4 last night and haven't synced many apps. At most I'll probably play a round of Tiger or two between now and next Thurs.

That is one of the three or four best apps available. Well worth the 99 cents, but much better for free.



Also, EA continues their insanely good deals with perhaps the unintentionally funniest sale in itunes history: Tiger Woods PGA Tour is 99 cents for Father's Day. No, I didn't make that one up. Yes, I just bought it.

It's Amazon's VG Deal of the Day as well. I guess EA is trying to make the most of their property, and crossing their fingers really hard that Tiger can make a run today.

I played it for a bit last night and it was really fun.

For 99 cent i checked it out.... I like it!

I spent $7 on NFS Shift and don't regret it. It's an awesome racing game, better than the PSP version. EVERYONE should drop a buck on that.

edit : Other 99 cent games include Fifa 10, NBA Live, NFS Undercover, Dragon's Lair and Madden 10!

Definitely going to pick up some of those EA games.

I'd be interested in C&C if I didn't just discover Land, Air & Sea Warfare. If anyone is into RTS games, this is by far the best I've found on the iPhone. Well worth the price.

Anyone else get the OS4 last night? I have been playing around with the folders and multitasking a bit and I like the way they implimented them. Though, I wish there was a way to quit programs w/o them automaticly going to the background.

Does anyone know when the gamecenter is going to go live for the non-developers? I would at least like to lock in a decent gamertag.
