Interesting. I'll have to check it out when I get home. Last I saw was the Rock Band app/game for $6.99
Is it a lite version of that game? Or something new?

I can pickup the DS one for around 14, which is why I was wondering if it was harder to control on the iphone or something.

I'm not into GTA, but I've heard on a couple podcasts that the iPhone version takes what's best of the DS and PSP games and combines them into one great game.

I also got the full Wolfenstein after playing the lite version. Note to self: Do not play this game while sitting in the back of the bus.

Has anyone tried this all-in-one gamebox (25 games) currently at 0.99?

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
I seen that game, might be worth the .99 but looking at the 25 games they look like what you pay for it.
Tried the Assassin's Creed 2 and never got it to actually start a game. So its deleted.
My favorite game right now is MyTown. Awesome game.
I see that FF1 and FF2 are now available and I may go for one of those next.
PS. Any one know a good site that keeps track of the free apps available daily in the appstore?

^ thanks re: 25-in-one. Kinda what I figured so I didn't download it when I first saw it. Now I know I can pass.

Not really a game, well maybe, and hopefully I'll tire of it quickly, but MyTown is addicting.
Similar to MyTown, and just a do-gooder sort of thing, but I'm using CauseWorld everyday now. Free app that lets you 'check-in' at businesses you are close to, where you earn points and then get to choose where the big corporate sponsor's cash goes. It's kind of fun, and gives me a slight 'do-gooder' feeling a few times a day.

MyTown is addicting. Very. They just updated it this past week and are promising more updates soon.
Its awesome you can own your favorite local stores, restaurants, or skating rinks, dog parks, gas stations, high schools, etc.

Just got an ipod touch and man, it's cool. Certainly it sours me for the DSi -- especially DSiWare, since the same games are much cheaper and more portable here and many come with demos.
Did anyone get Pac Man CE? I love the XBLA version, but have read that the controls suck on the ipod version. Any thoughts?

I think it's great but you need to be a little wary with games that were originally made for traditional controls. Virtual buttons and especially virtual d-pads just don't work very well, especially if fast reactions and precision is required. Virtual analog sticks usually work a bit better but sometimes not being able to feel the threshold of the stick can be problematic.

I got it and I agree the controls suck. I've played it a handful of times and would love my money back. I'm hoping the Simpsons drops in price soon. I used to love that arcade back in the day.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Speaking of sucky controls, beware of Super Monkeyball 2. It uses the tilt sensor for controls and it's horribly imprecise for a game like Monkeyball. This is one game they would have been better of doing a virtual analog stick.
