Yeah I killed a guy with those dual 1887's and took them off his corpse and killed him with them. He killed me with them later a couple of times.

They were pretty awesome when I had them, but they weren't a game changer for me. I did notice I was taking people down fast and farther out than I thought I should.

I like the 'Rifleman' action on them too.

The 1887s are complete dogshit imo.

I have no issue with shotguns being a straight instant kill but the range needs to be reduced. The 1887s do more damage at a mid to borderline long range than some of the assault rifles do. At a mid range they completely wipe the floor with every LMG and even have decent penetration on wooden walls and such.

They are far more unbalanced than anything in CoD4 and even worse than the trench gun in CoD2.

hah, that Javelin Fail video is almost exactly what happened to me when I first used it. The frigging rocket came back my way. Luckily it landed far enough from me, but still.... I never brought the Javelin back into play since!

I finally got nuked in HQ. The same guy did it in three consecutive matches. Luckily I was on his team all three times but it's still a drag to have the game come to a screeching halt like that.

I've been dual wielding Rangers and it's a sick combination with Marathon, Lightweight, and Combat. If the knife doesn't get you, the shotguns do. It's by far the most useful of my non-tactical classes and the only way I have a chance of getting above a 1 K/D.

Is anybody sick of people taking advantage of the javelin glitch?
It's basically martyrdom on steroids. When someone with the javelin equipped gets killed the javelin's missile explodes immediately and given the blast radius it kills everyone nearby as well.

So maddening, as soon as I notice someone doing that I quit that match and join another.

Fourzerotwo said today on Twitter than a patch 1.06 is coming to fix Javelin glitch, Care package glitch (I'm not sure what this is, the faster sprinting?) and some geography fixes (places you can get to that you shouldn't be able to). Said it's at MS for cert and will be coming soon to PS3.

If you're playing a team game, I usually request team members to mass report the glitcher.

I've come to the realization that I hate playing this in MP during prime hours. I played most of the afternoon yesterday with no issues but when I played late last night it was non stop glitchers, knifers, and akimbo shotgunners. While the last two are well within the rules of the game they provide all the thrill and variety of the MP40s on COD:WAW. Yawn.

Saw this a few days ago. Three guys got on Rundown (I think) by the gas station and were attempting to kill each other repeatedly (using the Tac Insertion to respawn each time); unfortunately for them, they drew enough attention that they weren't able to pull it off.

Still, I had the same thought as the author; how did these three guys all end up in the same FFA match together?

that happened to me last night. like 3 times in a row. 3 people with the same clan tag kept letting their teammates knife each other ending the game with a nuke in about 3 minutes.

That's gotta be about as fun as calling everyone on our team a "WEINER!!" over and over --- which is what I experienced last night until I took off my headset about 30 seconds in.

There used to be a guy on 'Resistance Fall Of Man'(man those were the days on PS3) who was good, no denying it, and would say "Yo shit's weak" as he killed people. That's all he used the mic for.

Every time in a game you heard that you knew he had killed someone.

I had my first encounter with a Jav-cheater yesterday. after 2 games of it I sent him a message that said:
"You're a big pussy"
Why's that?
"Jav glitch"
I get the kills don't I?
"Not for long"
LOL, I know, taking advantage while I can
"We'll see how good you are when it's fixed"

This guy was a level 60, and that's all he did in the 2 games I was in before I left...literally nothing else, just Jav-glitched.

Oh man tell me about it. I think 90% of my deaths in WaW are because of someone with a MP40 with extended mag.

Stupid glitchers! That javelin thing is ridiculously powerful! Hope the people get warned or banned or something.

MS wouldnt ban someone for a software glitch as it doesn't go against their ToS (to my knowledge) - Only hardware tampering does. PS- Im FINALLY 70 after nearly 3 days played... whew.

This is why the game makers need to put more energy into single player games. Online multi-player sucks from what everyone I hear has to say about it. (I don't play online for these reasons).

MS is banning people for using the javelin glitch. If you go into the file complaint section, it states that using a glitch in-game constitutes "tampering"

Agreed. That is why I am so thankful for games like Bioshock, Fallout and Oblivion.

It is obviously a personal opinion but i'm not so sure i would say that everyone thinks multi-player online sucks... Obviously people aren't thinking that since now game makers are shoe-horning multiplayer into everything because it sells.

I greatly prefer multiplayer games and typically will buy them at launch. A single player experience is as fresh at launch as it is in a year so i normally wait for those to drop to half price or lower.

Yeah, I only buy multiplayer games and hardly ever complete single campaigns. I also disagree with everybody who cries that online is ONLY JERKS AND CHEATERZ!!11!1!1 because I can play for about 2 hours a night and only have one or two matches where these types of people ruin the experience. Most of the time my fun is hindered by people who cry glitching, lag, cheating, etc. every single time they get killed.
