I'm in for all 13. Pretty excited about this.
|
No New really sucks. That was probably the song I was most excited for.
I'll grab: 1) Spiderwebs 2) Don't Speak 3) Underneath It All 4) Just A Girl 5) It's My Life |

That sucks, "New" was the only one I was going to get. Oh well.

B-a-n-a-n-a-s! BTW I am really excited about this whole pack. Only 1 or 2 songs I am not totally familiar with. Does suck about "New" but I can live with it. (Go! is one of my favorite movies BTW) |
Okay. Not to change the subject from No Doubt.... but who the hell is Lesley Roy? Why did she come up on a random setlist? And why did that song almost bust my spleen on Expert drums?
|
|
That doesn't explain why I almost lost a limb drumming that thing. I reverted back to retarded monkey flailing for a little bit because it took me by surprise.

Oh my lord!
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/936/936142p1.html Microsft recently released its own karaoke game, Lips, bringing another music game and another peripheral to the already crowded market. With its release, many have been excited about the possibility of using the Lips wireless microphone with Rock Band 2. That may soon become a reality, according to a Harmonix spokesperson. The company delivered this statement on the matter to IGN today: "Microsoft and MTV Games are working together to ensure that consumers will be able to use the wireless mics from 'Lips' with 'Rock Band 2' after launch. More details on timing to come. Harmonix and MTV Games strive for all third-party controllers to work with the Rock Band games, fitting with Harmonix' open-platform philosophy for controllers." |
That's pretty cool news.
|
I'm in for all 13 No Doubt tracks, one of the better weeks for me and my regular guests.
|
I'm honestly surprised the Lips mic doesn't work with Rock Band. That game would become the "Wii Play" of the 360.
|
Yeah, 2 wireless mics and a game for $70 isn't too bad if they end up working with RB. I can't imagine Lips is selling too well, so it'll probably be cheap come early next year.

 She probably has at least two or three copies (long story).
I'd pick it up once the RB patch is out and there's a decent deal on the game. |
I just got my 360 back today - wow, Malmsteen is available? Kick fuckin ass.

The latest issue of Harmonix' Rock Band Community Zine included some staggering statistics detailing the performance of the music platform's downloadable content. Most notable is the company's claim of pushing over 28 million Rock Band track downloads to date. The Rock Band store now boasts 345 downloadable tracks by 239 artists, and has seen DLC added for 55 consecutive weeks. Harmonix also reports that it has hit the 500 total song mark for the Rock Band platform, doing so with weeks to spare on its target of the end of 2008. Only 6 million songs had been downloaded for Rock Band as of March 20, 2008. Harmonix released the in-game Rock Band music store on that date, and launched Rock Band 2 in September. EDIT: My count for DLC is at 325. I guess that's because I'm not counting the 20 free, since they're not available on the music store. |
55 straight weeks? I thought there was at least one week where there was nothing.

Yeah, the closest week to nothing for 360 was Still Alive by itself on April 1. That was one of two weeks that the PSN store was down.

There was the one week when we didn't get something on Tuesday (The Moving Pictures/Locksley debacle). But Locksley got released on Thursday for PS3, and I'm pretty sure it showed up for us on that Friday.

is the wireless drum set sold out everywhere? Or they are going to release a new version?
The xbox version. Not even amazon is selling them. |
