To those saying Spoonman is goofy and cliched... er what? How could it possibly be cliched, there is no other song anything like that in all of rock music. It's prog rock that sounds like pop, how many people have pulled that off and actually made a hit out of it? I did a tempo/meter map of that song and it is insane, and was an amazing amount of work, but fun as hell. Try FCing it on expert drums ;)

I have a question about the ACDC add-on disc. I rented the disc, but the code was unused, so I DL'd the disc to my drive. Now, I can play all of the songs without the disc (I returned it), the challenges are open, etc..., but I can't get any achievements on it. I hit three different ones that should've unlocked and none did. Can you only get the achievements if the actual disc is in??

I believe you do have to e actually be playing it as the AC/DC game rather than just the songs downloaded to get the achievements.

Yep. The achievements don't carry over. They're only in the AC/DC game itself.

Yeah, you need to be playing the actual game disc - you shouldn't have returned it so fast! - I got 400 easy gamerscore between that and track pack vol. 2 (if I were better at vocals and my drums didn't miss notes all the time, I could have gotten an extra 100gs). Not a lot of people seem to be renting these, or if they are, not a lot of people are using the codes, which is wicked.

Is BBV carrying the AC/DC game for rental?

I just got my refurbed 360 back. Anyone know if I will I have to reexport the tracks or redownload the license in order to continue playing RB1 songs in Rb2?

If it's a different box, then you will probably have to redownload the license for all of your stuff.

Go to xbox.com/drm to use their tool to re-tie all content to your box. Then you'll have to go in and queue everything up for download to grab the new licenses. It will only take about 1 second per item, so it shouldn't be too bad. Might be easier to queue things up via the online marketplace as well while the 360 is on.

Microsoft should've done it for you already. You go to your history and "redownload" everything which only transfers the licenses. (it shouldn't have to actually redownload all the files)

If Microsoft didn't do this, call them and request them do it like they were supposed to. Don't use the license transfer tool since you can only do it once a year.

so i entered my code to DL the bonus 20 and in the middle of downloading my internet went to shit or something because it canceled the DL. How can I get those songs now? I tried entering the code they emailed me again but is says invalid code. am i screwed out of these songs?

You can redownload from your Download History. Should be under Account Management somewhere, I believe.

Caprici di Diablo marks the game's second instrumental. I picked up everything this week (Soundgarden's not up yet), but I don't think I'm gonna pass CdD anytime soon.

Yngwie is just someone I can't enjoy. I appreciate his skills, but it's not for me music-wise. And that chart gives me the runs. The LoG song is tempting just as another classic GH2 throwback, but the vocals kind of kill that one for me.

Picking up The Killers and the hopefully eventual Soundgarden.
