Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Semisonic - Closing Time
Blind Melon - No Rain
Nixons - Sister

You know, as a start I'm sure I can come up with many more if I thought about it or searched.

Also, another guilty pleasure:
Bryan Adams - Summer of '69

I don't consider OLP a one hit wonder...but great list. : )

Here is the new RR trailer. I guess this gives a glimpse to master DLC.

Yeah, I don't really either. Saw them play in OKC on some rooftop back in 95 or 96 and have followed since. But I had to put them on the list and I think most people only know one or two from them at all. I can swap them out for 4 Non-Blondes or Right Said Fred if you'd prefer

Add the following and I'd be set:

Spin Doctors - Two Princes
Green Day (obviously not a one hit wonder) - Longview
Cracker - Get off This
Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffanys
James - Laid
Lemonheads - Mrs Robinson
TMBG - Birdhouse in your Soul

Hey, Green Day has a song called Wake Me Up When September Ends. And September ends on Tuesday the 30th. And new Rock Band DLC hits on Tuesday, September 30th

4 Non Blondes it is...an actual girl song that girls at a party would like to play. A novel idea for Harmonix....

I didn't include it because I knew I'd get laughed at for liking. I love singing the background in that song. Does it have drums? I can't recall.

I listened to that yesterday. First time in a long while. I prefer Jimmy Olson's Blues from Spin Doctors though. Here's some more 90's tunes I'd love to see, not necessarily one hit wonders, but:

Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy
Candlebox - Far Behind
Silverchair - Tomorrow
Blur - Song #2
Days of the New - Touch, Peel & Stand
Blues Traveler - Runaround
Jackyl - I Stand Alone
Cake - the Distance
Soul Asylum - Runaway Train
Collective Soul - Shine (could do a hell of a pack though)
Live - Lakini's Juice (could do a hell of a pack though)
Kenny Wayne Shepherd - Blue on Black
Sheryl Crow - My Favorite Mistake
Crash Test Dummies - mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm (would be boring, but how could you leave them out?)

Jimmie's Chicken Shack - High (a couple killer solos 2:00 & 3:20 marks, kick ass drums too)

I was wondering why is Bread's "Guitar Man" is continually overlooked in these games?

Seem rather appropriate no?

I'd like to see some The Cure DLC on any of these games.

That would be cool - except for the 20 minute instrumental intros to many of their songs.

A long while ago we got a leaked screenshot of a song called Burn coming to Rock Band. Since then we've learned it was the Nine Inch Nails song, but I instantly wanted the Cure song from The Crow soundtrack.

Up here in Canada, OUR LADY PEACE are definitely NOT considered to be One Hit Wonders... They've been going strong up here YEARS with at least an album worth of hits I'd love to see some OLP though.

On the one hit wonder front, I'd love to see some Spin Doctors, Gin Blossoms and Semisonic (says the guy who has all records from the above bands and enjoys most of their catalogues and has seen all of them live...)

Deep Purple's "Burn" would've been awesome.

Anyone watch Metal Mania on VH1?
99% of what they show needs to be playable on these silly plastic instruments.

Some bands that come to mind are

WASP - Love Child
Anthrax - Got The Time
Ozzy - Shot in the Dark

There is just not enough early metal masters material in these games for me yet.

I don't think anyone posted this yet but this is Rock Revolution's trailer for the Wii and DS:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLRy4jwRgh8

With all the focus on the drums I'm trying to at least keep an open mind to it and give it a try.
