Well, I have absolutely no idea how to play that sort of game, but that preview makes it very clear that they've made the game very accessable for newbies without gimping the gameplay in any way. It sure sounds like a winner, especially at 800 points and without nickle and diming over microtransactions. I'm really impressed and will probably pick it up if I understand the demo even a little bit.

Great news on Magic for $10. I was expecting $15 and was teetering on it. Now it's almost a sure purchase for me. The demo just has to suck for me to not buy it.
Has there been any news for this Wednesday, the 10th?

With Major Nelson shipped off to Iraq(!), will we actually have to wait until Wednesday to find out what comes out this week?

Sorry...In reference to the other 5. I get that some may want the lack of disc, but it just seems like you'd get so much more for the value in SUGC.

Summer of Arcade along with TMNT, Shadow Complex, Monkey Island, Joy Ride, Trials HD, and one or two more. This was announced during E3. I think it's July this year.
We know for sure it won't be until June 24th at the earliest since next week is Magic: The Gathering.

I can't wait!
XBLA deals out Magic: The Gathering on June 17
Wizards of the Coast has announced that Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers will finally release on Xbox Live Arcade this month. Specifically, the game will launch on June 17. Have no fear, Magic fans, unlike the Xbox version of Magic: The Gathering, Duels of the Planeswalkers is a straight-up card game. And, based on our time with it at PAX last year, it's a pretty good one.
Unfortunately, we still don't know how much green damage the game will deal to your wallet.

Last month I finally threw all mine out that I hadn't sold. (Haven't played in probably 10 years or more.) I had a 5000 count card box alone that was just all land. WTF? Illness.

In addition to Sam & Max and Magic tomorrow, we're also getting Rocket Riot for 800 points: http://www.destructoid.com/rocket-ri...t-136418.phtml

THQ has announced that the Codeglue-developed Rocket Riot has cut through all of the Microsoft certification red tape and will be released on Xbox LIVE Marketplace tomrorow, June 17.
Available for 800 MS Points, Rocket Riot is a “side-view shooting action” game with an 8-bit era look and feel. The game features 80 single-player missions, as well as four multiplayer modes for up to eight players online and four players local. It looks like the game has you picking up a number of “whacky” weapons likes guided rockets, dizzy missiles, and other crazy rocket-type-things.
Along with the announcement, THQ accidentally sent along 12 images of the company’s logo instead of screenshots. (Seriously, check our gallery.) To get an idea of what Rocket Riot you’ll have to check out the official site, so go do that. Now.
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4zN0h1xmwF8&color1=0xd6d6d6&color2=0xf0f0f0&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4zN0h1xmwF8&color1=0xd6d6d6&color2=0xf0f0f0&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Looks promising.
