I don't have a problem with people saying that they don't think a game is worth $15 if they were on the fence to begin with. That's completely understandable.
It's the people that see that $15 game that they had little to no intention of getting in the first place, and complaining about the price.

The price of Death Tank really baffles me. I thought R-Type was overpriced, but at least one could argue that it was essentially two games in one. What justification could there possibly be here in this case since the immensely popular Worms was 800 points and this seems so similar to that game? (unless it's that real-time premium Groucho mentioned earlier). My concern is that MS is trying to move all new games up to that price range and I really have a problem with that.

At some point, Shacknews noticed that the Puzzle Quest: Galatrix page on xbox.com listed next Wednesday, the 25th, as the release date.
Currently it says "TBD". http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/p/pq...boxlivearcade/

Holy disappointment, Batman! Not only is Death Tank a complete snoozefest, IMO (it's slow and unintuitive to aim in my brief play time in the demo), but Exit 2 is nowhere to be found. Death Tank sure seems like Worms; real time combat doesn't seem to alter the gameplay much. I really think they made a mistake pricing this at 1200. Nothing about it feels that special. I'm really curious to see what the purchase numbers on 360voice show tomorrow. Still,
for having full Live MP on the demo.

What's even more insulting about Death Tank is that there's a very similar community game that looks AND plays better, for only 800 points:

I'm sorry, I award you no points due to your lack of properly expressing your hangup. Next time please accurately describe your hang-up so as to keep the thread clear from useless posts

I don't know how anyone who plays that game or Worms can think Death Tank is worth as much as those two games combined.

BattleHavoc looks much better than Death Tank, in my opinion. I'll have to try the demos for both.
The major problem is that both are multiplayer-focused, and I don't expect either to sell well enough to have the type of community where you'll be able to easily find a game to join.

This is too large of a problem with XBLA titles in general. Interest wanes quickly once people start getting 200/200 out of them or when the next title comes out.

Looks to be episodic content and this is just part 1. Odds of this coming in at less than 1600 points?

My guess would be 1200 points. Not sure the over/under on that.

I have several games I'd download if this weren't a concern. I hate buying a game and finding out there is no community left.

From xbox360fanboy.com today:
Galactrix may not arrive Feb. 25, Xbox.com is a big fat liar
by Alexander Sliwinski { 37 minutes ago }
Much like Xbox.com's fiction about an Exit 2 release today, it was apparently also being a lying liar telling fibs about Galactrix's release next week. Siliconera spoke to a representative for redundant publisher, D3 Publisher, which informed the site it had "not confirmed" a date for the XBLA version of the crack-infused RPG puzzler.
Sure enough, changing from yesterday, the Xbox.com page now notes that Galactrix's release is T and B to the D (i.e. to be determined). The only way to be sure and play Galactrix next week is to purchase it on DS orpirate it from the web pick it up for PC on February 24.

I got the new Game Informer last night, and it has a half-page preview that lists it at 1600 points.

More than price, anymore i'm concerned about space. I had to delete a bunch of stuff this evening just to snag some Burnout DLC. I really wish the HDD prices would drop.
