Even if you have the game on the PS3 or the 360, I highly recommend picking up the Vita version at that price. It's the same game (minus local co-op), but it looks incredible and plays magnificently. It's by far the best platformer on the system and perfect for quick gaming sessions.

Chess,

FWIW, I tried the Hitman game a couple of months ago, it was free with my videocard, and I just couldn't like it. It was my first Hitman game though. I basically just played the beginning, first 10-30 minutes.

OTOH I loved The Last of Us.

I appreciate the intel Raul3, and I'm 100% sure that I'll play TLoU at some point this year despite all of the sneaking around. Naughty Dog are probably the best storytellers in the business at this point, and they get the benefit of the doubt.

But Hitman just doesn't look like it's for me.

I'm definitely in for Hitman Absolution, and the Star Wars Pinball this month. I came close to picking up Hitman a couple times when it was on sale, but never could pull the trigger.

Decided to give The Cave a spin last night. Pretty cool little puzzle/adventure game. Kind of a cool twist controlling three characters.

Finished the Knight and Adventurer's quests. I'm now on the Time Traveler's, the last of my original three. I assume it'll let me choose from the others after I finish these three?'

I don't recall this getting much attention, but wow, it's fun. Thanks PS+. :)

Don't feel bad though, the PSN trophy values are higher (e.g. like beating an episode netting you a gold trophy). The disc version has the SAME set of trophies PLUS a platinum trophy, but the trophy value is lower. However, overall trophy value is pretty much the same.

The trophy values are the point system to level up your gamer tag.

Yes, it's a pretty fun game, love the story of the twins :). But my favorite game from PS+ is Closure, it's the only game I beat without looking up the internet, got all of the trophies too.

That's my favorite part of +. There's been so many games that I've enjoyed that I wouldn't have even looked at before they showed up as part of it.

The recently-released PSN version of MLB : The Show 13 Home Run Derby has dropped to free today (for everyone, not just PS Plus). Don't know why and there's no mention of it on the PS Blog, but hey, for that price, why not pick it up?

Spent the last few days finishing up Guacamelee. I had stopped when the patch screwed up stuff. I even picked up the 2 DLCs, still have to complete the challenge rooms. I do admit to going with the unmatched version to get the hard difficulty trophies, not because it was too hard, but because I didn't feel like doing another full playthrough. Easily one of my favorite downloadable games of the year.

If you really want to, you can earn both trophy sets, getting the higher values from the download, AND the platinum from the disc. Though it does mean buying and playing through the game twice.

I've thought about picking up the disc version at some point just to do that, but never found it at a price worth double dipping at.

EDIT: As a side note, having to free up 32 GB to install a 16 GB game is annoying. As others have said, I really hope this is no longer necessary on the PS4.

I got the hard playthrough trophy but said screw it on trying to get some of those orbs. I guess this is a platinum that I'm just not willing to get frustrated enough to earn.

The tree orb was driving me crazy before I stopped playing, I got it in about 10 minutes this time. The one with the disappearing platforms drove me nuts though.

Even though I own the full game, I ended up downloading this as well. Easiest and fastest 100% in my collection. I got all 4 trophies in less than 5 minutes.

I thought that was an exaggeration. But I had a few minutes this morning, so I checked it out :

100%
Gold

Hang a Louie

Attained:92 minutes ago

Hit a home run to Left Field. Only earned if playing an uninterrupted game against the CPU, without switching sides or fast forwarding.

Gold

Straight as an Arrow

Attained:94 minutes ago

Hit a home run to Center Field. Only earned if playing an uninterrupted game against the CPU, without switching sides or fast forwarding.

Gold

Attained:91 minutes ago

Hit a home run to Right Field. Only earned if playing an uninterrupted game against the CPU, without switching sides or fast forwarding.

Bronze

Back to Back

Attained:92 minutes ago

Hit 2 (or more) home runs in a row. Only earned if playing an uninterrupted game against the CPU, without switching sides or fast forwarding.

So that's somewhere between three and four minutes to net 100%. Ridiculous. And completing Bioshock Infinite on Normal (which took me weeks) got me a Bronze trophy, BTW.

Hitman Absolution is live. MLB : The Show 13 Home Run Derby also says limited time only, so if you really want it you might at least want to purchase it while it's free.

I'm crying. Just found out that Shadow of the Colossus was on sale last month, $5 for plus members. :(

I've been looking for a sale on that game/pack for a long time, and for some reason or another it always evades me.
