Another great month for PS3.

I will check Grid 2. I will probably add BL2 just in case too. I already have it in Xbox, season pass and everything.

I could see them swapping in a new game in January, but since the console is still in launch mode (remember, it's PS4 release day in Europe right now), the free stuff is going to be pretty slim.

I do hope we get something before Driveclub finally launches.

EDIT: As for the stores with the Plus deal, Walmart, Gamestop and Amazon have all been confirmed as being in on the deal. And apparently the deal is live at Walmart stores, but not online as of yet.

Sadly, Grid 2 looks really good, but it's going to be hard to get to when I'm so hooked on NFS Rivals on PS4. I just can't picture me getting back to it unless it has a hook that I'm not aware of. :(

I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of PS4 title. I think they could have launched Warframe in December as the free PS+ title with the same PS+ bonuses they gave at launch. It would have delayed Warframe a couple of weeks, but it would have left a better impression for new PS4 owners and PS+ subscribers.

I think they're giving a PS+ bonus with War Thunder as well, and the same marketing opportunity would apply.

Hmm, I think I even have that much in my wallet. Have to wonder if it will be a free PS+ title within a year, though, and I certainly have plenty to play in the meantime.

Just over a week ago, they mentioned on the PS Blog that Tiny Brains will be coming out on the PS4 in December and the developer mentioned "The whole team is incredibly proud to be bringing Tiny Brains to PS4 on December 3rd. Thanks to PlayStation’s support of indies, we were given the option to be featured on PlayStation Plus for the launch — it was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up!". I have no idea what that means, exactly, but it looks like we'll at least get a discount on the title -- maybe????

edit : They added comments later. I just looked now and it confirms that the game will be $19.99 but there will be a "discount" for PS Plus.

Here it is under "Other Discounts"

Game Title PS Plus Price Regular Price
Tiny Brains $15.99 $19.99
Draw Slasher $2.99 $4.99
Rainbow Moon $11.99 $14.99
Rainbow Moon Cross-Save Bundle $17.99 $22.49
Rainbow Moon Ps3 Player Special Offer $5.99 $7.49

I took that to mean a discount. I just don't like the precedent, even if it makes sense with many other countries just getting the PS4 or getting it in December.

I had hoped that one of Secret Ponchos, Outlast or Don't Starve would have been ready.

The Drop for December 3rd :

Not exactly a PS4 freebie, but Escape Plan comes out this week (tomorrow??) for the PS4. It's free if you already bought the Vita version. In fact, it's a cross-platform fest with Stick It To The Man coming to the PS4 (cross-buy with last week's PS3 version) and Rainbow Moon coming out for the Vita (Cross-Save, not cross-buy)

PsPlus has a weird line item for Rainbow Moon, makes it look like if you got the PS3 version you can get a Vita version for $5. Its not explained though.

Yeah, that makes sense since the PS3 version will be $11.99 and the cross-save (i.e. cross-buy, but not actually cross-buy) version will be $17.99, then charging $5.99 to get the Vita version after owning the PS3 version sounds about right.

Yikes! If I buy this digital copy, I can import the original songs into it for another $10 or so?

I picked up the $49.99 cable bundle last week, but haven't opened it yet. This would be a better deal since I would be able to share it with my daughter's PS3.

story 12-03-13 09:36 AM

Does Rocksmith really work? How much is the cable on its own? How is the 2014 version different? Only recently heard of this

2014 version is a bit more focused than the earlier version, faster menus, much better layout, better educational aspects and more ways to learn. Yes, it works, really well depending on your setup (it recommends using optical audio out if you can support it due to television/audio lag when going digital). Tone cable varies in price.

Here's a YouTube channel with a bunch of videos: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQQ8...OV7Uf_g/videos

The guy has the game pretty close to maxed out so that's on the more difficult side. And yes, imo, the game works.

Some educational stuff includes a ton of mini-games, to step-by-steps with the songs, to even labeling what fingers should go on what strings

.

If it interests you in the least, I highly recommend it. Very well done program.

Thanks for always posting these Decker. Helps us work challenged folks out. :D

That's a pretty good deal for the Tomb Raider bundle. It was just $15 on Black Friday. Looks like with this bundle you get a MP map, some outfits, weapons and the full game of Quantum Conundrum.

I'm hoping Dragon's Crown will be free via PS+ soon.

flOw comes out for both the PS4 and the Vita on Tuesday.

http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2822/1...b958d630_z.jpg

It's a Cross-Buy title, so if you got it for the PS3, you'll get these two versions for free. Not sure if that will work for those who got the free flOw game during the holiday give-away a few years back. That was a special download that didn't actually give you ownership of the title, iirc.
