I was able to get Mass Effect with the steelbook for 32 plus tax. I would be pissed otherwise.

So it looks like the "9 days of sales" thing is just the same games on sale for 9 days? No need to check back daily?

That game reeks of BF sale.

Get the Wipeout collection! It's fucking amazing - one of the best looking games on the PS4, and at 60fps, your eyes will bleed, in a good way!

Best of E3 sale just showed up:

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-...BESTOFE3SALELP

( btw, PS support SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. They had the Destiny collection for $14 so I figured I'd pick that up, only to realize it was the PS3 version after I paid. Since I had 1 return request in my lifetime already, they wouldn't return this one, even though I don't even have a PS3, and their support policy clearly states you can request a refund on digital purchases up to 14 days after you buy them, assuming you haven't started downloading them yet. So now I have some useless software tied to my account and am out $14. :( )

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Ah, it looks like one is called Destiny The Collection (that is the PS4 version for $30) and Destiny The Taken King Legendary Edition (that is the PS3 version for $14.69). That sucks though that they won't refund you if you didn't install it.

It looks like Rise of Iron is finally on sale, $19.79.

Both Metro games are only $6 each. Nice way to get caught up for the new one next year.

I just bought Firewatch for $20 to help with the Spend $100 get $15 promo.

Contacted them and got the difference back, thankfully.

Yup. $7.99, at least in Canada. Not sure if it is the same or cheaper in the States.

It's $7.99 here as well.

Yeah, it's 60% off. I bought it last time it was 50% off and really enjoyed it. Not too long and a really beautiful game.

Spend $100 using your PlayStation®Network wallet (“PSN Wallet”) beginning June 9th , 2017 through June 20th, 2017 11:59PM PT, and receive a PSN Wallet promotion code valued at $15 to spend on games, movies, TV shows, music and anything else that accepts PSN Wallet funds*!

Promotion is available to legal U.S., Canada, and Mexico residents with a Sony Entertainment Network account (“Account”) registered in their country of residency who are 18 or older and who have spent $100.00 or more using the PSN Wallet between June 9th, 2017 12:01AM PT and June 20th, 2017 11:59PM PT. Each Account may only accrue a total of $15 in PSN Wallet credits pursuant to this promotion.

The promotion code (“Code”) is good for one qualifying Account to redeem the PSN Wallet credit via the PlayStation®Store. Code expires at 11:59PM PT on July 18th, 2017 and must be redeemed prior to this time. Code cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, may not be used for any other purpose and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. You will receive the redemption Code on or before July 5th, 2017 via XMB message on PS3™, system notification on PS4™, PS Vita™, or the email account used to set up your Account Sign-in ID.

Anything on PSN that you can purchase with the wallet counts (pre-orders, games, DLC, videos, etc.).

So far I've preordered:
Life is Strange: Before the Storm Deluxe Edition / $24.99
Pyre / $17.99
Horizon Dawn: The Frozen Wilds / $14.99

I'll wait and see if they throw in another flash sale before the 20th since I have a 20% off coupon (doesn't work on preorders) to get me over the $100 mark.

I'm definitely getting:
Little Nightmares : Secrets of the Maw Expansion Pass / $9.99

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

So far I've bought :

Watch Dogs 2 $25
Firewatch $8
Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy (Pre-Order with bonus themes and avatars) $40

So I'm about $27 short. Worse case I can preorder Everybody's Golf or can buy WipEout Omega for $40, but I'm waiting to see what goes on sale on the 20th (You have until 11:59 PM that day to hit $100).

I LOVE Horizon Zero Dawn, but with all the content in that game (and as far as I still have to go), I really don't need more, challenging DLC content any time soon.

Shoot the sale on Horizon, etc. digitally ended this morning?

Ah well, saves me money and less on the backlog pile I guess.

Yeah, looks like the entire sale ended already.. oh well... need to save money anyways.

Are you guys seeing something different? I just pulled it up on my phone and everything looks like it's still on sale. I still have the Horizon DLC in my wishlist for $15.

My thoughts exactly though there were some good temptations there...just looked around Amazon and still some good deals including Horizon and Wireless Controllers for $39. Even saw Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim SE at $29.....a lot of good deals and life in games out there.....

See where Cliff B's game Lawbreakers is coming to PS4 this Fall....followed it a bit here and there. Looks good but good grief the pace on this must be in turbo mode. It's literally 360° combat.....

Just a reminder this ends tomorrow. My final haul was:

Preorders:
Life is Strange: Before the Storm Deluxe Edition
Pyre
Horizon Dawn: The Frozen Wilds

Purchases (with my 20% off coupon):
Oxenfree (I own it on XB1 but it was under $5 and I plan on replaying it)
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
Thumper
Little Nightmares DLC
Bounce Rescue (it was under $2)
Adam's Venture Chronicles (PS3) (it was around $1)

I needed like $10 more but I remembered I still had Playstation Vue (for the NBA playoffs and Fargo) and it billed during the time frame so I'm way over the $100.

Nex Machina beginning to live up to all expectations.

Decker 06-20-17 09:17 AM

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Yeah, Nex Machina is the bomb. Everything that was great about Resogun, but more of it. Faster, harder, more intense. It's a great game, but I need a LOT of practice. Also a little bit of a tutorial would be nice. I have trouble with the Dash mechanic (I also did with the Overdrive feature in Resogun) and don't yet know how to use some of the power ups.

joeblow69 06-20-17 09:38 AM

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

We played it a bit last night. It's really cool, but honestly seems a bit shallow to me. No character progression/upgrades? No money to collect to buy stuff? Just a few different weapons and that's it?

We're going to have to try it again stoned. Looks like it'll be a trip.

Decker 06-20-17 09:40 AM

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

It's an Arcade Shooter. It's about chasing high scores and perfect runs and advancing to higher difficulty. While there is character progression in Alienation, that is unusual for the genre. This is much closer to Resogun.
