I say get the demo for pc and see if you like it first. From what I hear it's amazing. I am going to try the demo now and see if it is any good before I buy
edit that. That site is too slow. I'm getting it on steam now at 2 mb/s
Ok, the one level I played was AWESOME. I even went through it again since i was struggling the first time, and did it in 1/3rd of the time. So far it looks like I might have to buy it

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I never got very far in the first Oddworld game. I bought it for the PC when it first came out. I got stuck, then distracted and never went back to it. I recently picked up both Oddworld games on Steam when they had a sale I couldn't pass up. I played each for about 5 minutes each just to see how they held up- maybe I'll get to them someday...
Trine I played on Steam back when it first came out this summer. I loved it, finished it, replayed parts to find all the secrets. And now I'm tempted to buy it again on the PS3 just to see how it plays on the controller and maybe to try some side-by-side multiplayer.

Got Trine and I really like it so far. Great art style and cool puzzles. I went in thinking this would really be best played as a co-op game, but it works very well as a single player puzzle platformer with some light action elements. I'm really impressed so far.

I checked out the Critter Crunch demo this weekend and bought the full version the moment the demo ended. If you like puzzle games, you need to try out the demo. It has a great art style, a good sense of humor, and it introduces new elements as you progress through the story mode to keep things interesting. It also throws in some puzzle levels and challenge levels for variety's sake, and it's just a fun game all around.

We heard rumors, but Braid on PSN finally has a release date.
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/04/br...k-november-12/
It only took 15 months, but Braid has finally found its way to the PlayStation Network. Jonathan Blow's critically acclaimed puzzle-platformer may be late, but its time-shifting gameplay mechanics certainly make the old adage "better late than never" all the more apropos.
The Hothead-developed port will be available on the North American PlayStation Store on November 12th, "with a European version to be announced shortly thereafter." The PSN version of Braid will cost $14.99, the same price as its XBLA equivalent

Of course. I spent 20 minutes earlier setting up a UK account to download it. You're welcome.

Just played for an hour this morning. It's absolutely brilliant. If not for Shadow Complex, this would be my choice for the hands-down best downloadable game of the year. I'm really impressed.
Tried Critter Crunch demo, and like Autotelik said, it's brilliant and bought it right away. Just when you think all the basic puzzlers have been done to death, something completely original comes along and makes you rethink how you approach the genre.

I bought Flower and Final Fantasy 7 since I never had played it before. Though I wont probably be able to touch it till around Christmas, I played about an hour maybe so far and it seems to age pretty well.

I don't know if people have noticed this or not, but Lumines Supernova has dropped to $10 (from $15). It's not much different from the XBLA version, but it does have new game modes and isn't gimped and stripped down the way the XBLA version is. EVERY game mode is included here. It's a tremendous value for $10 -- even better if you grabbed the Holiday skins pack when it was free (at game's launch). I wish I'd never bought the XBLA version, but it was still worth the re-buy.

Apparently, Peggle and the Peggle Nights expansion are hitting PSN tomorrow for $9.99 and $4.99 respectively. Anyone who somehow has managed to avoid the games so far should definitely look into it when it hits here. It also has remote play on PSP, though if it's anything like Bionic Commando, don't get too excited since the lag makes the game unplayable.

Except for a couple instances with some power ups and moving obstacles, a half a second of lag isn't nearly as big a detriment to Peggle as it is to Bionic Commando.

Perhaps you're right. Still, much like the PS3's Home service, that Remote Play feature sounds like a much better idea than it really is.

Awesome, can't wait to give it a spin.
