I'm pretty damn sure Grim Fandango will eventually be a PS Plus Freebie, but for $6 (and PS4-Vita Cross-Buy), I think I might go ahead and buy it now anyways.

Good News : it includes a free PS Vita copy with Cross-Save Bad News : The Vita version is a 7.2 GB file! That's like over twice as big as Borderlands 2. |

I'm completely baffled at that file size. I've played the PS4 version for a while -- the game looks pretty good but it uses prerendered backgrounds and isn't particularly hi-rez. It's fully voiced, but other than that I have no idea why the file is remotely that big. Even on the PS4, it's "only" a 4 GB file.

I doubt that's the case here since there is no way to download Vita games off the PS4 and there is no PS3 version of the game.

It's the combined file size. The download of the Vita version on the PS3 is 3142MB.

Okay, but combined with what? There is no PS3 version of the game and you can't download Vita games on the PS4.
edit : I guess that's the combined file size of downloading a copy of the PS Vita game to your Vita and to your PS3. Stupid to label it like that then. |

It's the download and install so that's why it's doubled. You can have the room for the actual game, but if you don't have the room for both, it yells at you.

Xeodrifter looks like it could be a super cool metroid clone, but it's too frustrating to me. I don't have the patience to die that much at the beginning of the game. Why does everything retro have to be HARD? why can't it just be FUN? |
