That's fucking awesome. I wondered if they would do more than one track. The Offspring isn't for everyone, but they do have a lot of hits.

Hammerhead is pretty fun. I found it to be pretty easy on Hard guitar though. Also picked up Afterlife which is a pretty decent tune. Love the strings. That one is a bit tougher. Also, late to the party, nabbed El Scorcho. Wow. Easiest. Song. Ever.

Wow, that Offspring pack is going to rule. Can't wait for that one. Definitely great variety.

Looks like you're getting your wish. Potential Offspring 6-pack incoming! Directly confirmed from Offspring.com.

Coming soon for Rock Band:
“Come Out And Play [Keep ‘Em Separated]“
“Self Esteem“
“Gone Away“
“All I Want“
“Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)“
”The Kids Aren‘t Alright"

Looks like a good mix of songs from their various albums. Practically a greatest hits. Awesome!
Might be the first RB DLC I d/l in a long time.

I'm all over that Offspring pack. Would have liked Smash on there but the censoring would have been awful.

Meh, not my cuppa tea guvna.

The Rush album would definitely go a long way towards restoring my faith in the DLC.

But they should do Roll The Bones instead....

Bad Habit would have been a censoring nightmare.

Awesome news. So we'll go from having zero Offspring in guitar games to 7 just like that.

I have to imagine the bands are making a pretty penny off of these games, so slowly but surely more will open up their catalogs.

We don't know when it's coming, just that it is. There's still the Testament songs and a few more Crooked X songs that have been confirmed via interviews for quite some time.

An announcement will suffice for now.

Any word on some of the songs that were in that hacked file a few months ago? Wasn't there some Rolling Stones in there?

It seems though that the bigger bands seem to leak it closer to release than the smaller ones. Of course there are only a few examples to pull from (Def Leppard, Nugent). I'm still thinking there will be something bigger/more mainstream than the Pixies to come out around Guitar Hero: Aerosmith's release. This could fit the bill. July 1st is still open, two days after GH:A release.

Oh, I shared your Offsrping info on CAG, Shag. No one had posted it yet. Gave you credit for it as well.

Nothing official as of yet. I'm pretty sure that stuff is still coming at some point, as a lot of it has made it out. Stuff on that spa.bin file that hasn't made it out:

Grateful Dead - Alabama Getaway
Nirvana - Nevermind album
Rolling Stones - (Can't Get No) Satisfaction
Rolling Stones - Brown Sugar
The Who - Behind Blue Eyes
The Who - Pinball Wizard

Obviously, they have stopped putting stuff in that file to keep things secretive. There have been some other small leaks through other "official" channels in the past that they have also plugged up. They really like to keep us guessing with the DLC, and it keeps the game at the front of my mind for a lot of the week.

That Offspring pack sounds great. If I had my choice, I'd switch Pretty Fly For A White Guy for something else, but it is understandable why they chose that song.

That Offspring pack is nearly perfect. Wish Gotta Get Away was in there but, but I digress.

Replace "Gone Away" with "Why Don't You Just Get a Job" and this would've been perfect. I'll probably get a few songs.

Now, where's Rancid's "Timebomb"?

^ I love Gone Away, but it is kinda mellow and would have really loved Why Don't You Get a Job.

Definitely understandable. It was their biggest commercial success, right? Anyway, I think it will probably be the most fun to sing out of the bunch. Give it to me baby.

That Offspring pack is AWESOME. I'm excited just thinking about it! I'd also swap out Pretty Fly for a White Guy if it were up to me... I'd go with KICK HIM WHEN HE'S DOWN instead...that would have been amazing! As it stands though, the first 4 songs in that pack are a huge draw and I can't wait...

I was surprised how difficult Hammerhead was on expert guitar - that or maybe I was just too tired when playing it but I was surprised based on it's difficulty rating that it seemed more like an 7/10 to me... it's those quick triple notes that kill me...

Check gamestop...I grabbed a "used" 360 rock band mic for $13 and the PS3 mic was $11 (are they actually different?)

I'm not really an Offspring fan but even i will grab Pretty Fly For a White Guy just due its radio popularity and humorous lyrics.

The Offspring 6-pack sounds awesome. While I do like Hammerhead, both as a song and for the Hard drum chart, I could really go for some of their classic songs. I hope we get this sooner rather than later.

I've been hoping for 'gone away' for a long time. If they replaced 'pretty fly' with anything else, it would be a perfect offspring pack. But I suppose that's the song most people know them for.
