It is now. The other day the full game was mispriced to $1.99. They also had Family Feud mispriced to $1.99. I missed out on Family Feud but picked up a copy of WDI... for myself and an extra.

Hate to break the deal topic up but has anyone done a "trade in" with Amazon and just how does it work and did it go alright?

I'm not sure if you can use the credit on anything or just video games. |

Gotta love the Amazon Warehouse. Ordered a copy of Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition (360) last week for $14.99 and it arrived today. It doesn't even look like anything inside was ever touched.

Wow. That's fantastic! You could turn around, sell that on ebay, and get enough money to buy a damaged box (ie new) Xbox Slim or PS3 from the Warehouse.

In any event, everything I've bought from them has been exactly as described and fully functional, all of which arrived re-wrapped in nearly new condition. Very trustworthy. |

"Damaged" isn't really the proper descriptor for these items. I've probably picked up over a dozen games -- and one 360 controller priced at $18 -- from Amazon's Warehouse Deals, and they've all been practically new. Most of them are likely opened games that people didn't like and claimed they were "defective", or items where the outer packaging was damaged in shipping.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
What is 'damaged' is the box, not the item itself. In retail stores, you normally would not pick these products in damaged box unless its the last item available and you just really want to have it. Of course there will be instance when the handling of these items leading to a damaged box actually affects the item inside.

Thanks for the info on Warehouse Deals. I'm checking it out now.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
If you can live without getting the remote controlled spy cam that the Prestige edition offers, the vanilla Call of Duty Black Ops for the 360 is now $49.99 and comes with a $20 promotional credit. Pretty sweet deal.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Showing $59.99.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Dang that didn't last long.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Looks like everyone who did get in is having their order canceled

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Wow, I guess so. What sort of bullshit is that?
|
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
I wonder if people that already had it pre-ordered got the auto adjust. They'll likely slip through the system.

The IGN preview implied that after 8 hours of gameplay an actual castle was only a peripheral concern. How is that Castlevania? But I did just get my $20 promo for Metroid and it would be fitting to use that credit on my other favorite and, of late, misguided 8-bit franchise. |

It's almost enough to make me bite on this, but I'm just not sold on Castlevania as a mashup of God of War and Shadow of Colossus.

Pre-ordered about 2 months ago. I sent in an email asking for a price adjustment. I said it should be covered by the Pre-Order Price Guarantee. They dropped my price down to $49.99. Nice.
