Seriously those negative reviews were looking at the game through a technical standpoint. They shit on it for having bad graphics and old controls. But that's what the game wants to be. It's one of those it's so bad it's good kind of games. The story is really good and one of the main reasons to get this game. If you can get past the xbox era graphics and bad controls, it's a great experience.

Seriously though, like everyone one else has said, the graphics are mediocre and the controls aren't the best, but the game more than makes up for it in it's quirky personality and a story that is quite amazing.

David Lynch fans should especially try it out, it's very Twin Peaks-esque at times.

As I said before, these guitars are awesome and well worth $100... easy recommendation. However, I guess things have changed with the real guitars on the horizon. I guess if you have no interest in those and want to stick with the button guitars this is still a good deal.

I'm definitely interested in the new gameplay and will gladly buy a guitar for that when the time is right. It does bring up an interesting question (and this is probably better suited for the RB thread) about backwards-compatibility with the new fancy guitars. Will they work in a 5-button, non-Pro mode?

I'm not sure exactly how the "realtar" will work in standard 5-button mode, but I remember seeing an interview during E3 that said that both that and the "halftar" would be fully playable in both modes.

That's my only RB guitar (for now) and it's so long, I've taken to using the solo buttons exclusively. Still better than those shitty Les Pauls I've got.
