Same here. This is especially useful around the holidays since i don't have to pack up the gifts and go to a PO to mail them. Amazon gift giving is the bestest thing ever. <3 |

The truth is, you make up the shipping costs just by avioding sales tax on things you'd buy anyway like DVDs, CDs and batteries. I used to think I'd be saving by using FSSS, but I'd spend way more than $80/yr in filler items I didn't really want or need. |

I wish they had a Marketplace Prime.

Probably the most useful $79 I spend all year. |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
You can get prime shipping on a marketplace purchase if it's "Fulfilled by Amazon". Basically marketplace sellers can pay amazon a fee to store their crap, and Amazon ships it.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Thanks guys. Ordered Crackdown yesterday. Been playing my 360 a lot more lately, but really don't like paying more than $20 for games.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Amazon DOTD (4/22) is Frontlines: Fuel of War (360) for $9.98. This was a pretty fun game and I hear people are still playing online. Definitely worth $10.
X-Play gave it 4 Stars (out of 5): <param name="movie" value="http://g4tv.com/lv3/20667" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed src="http://g4tv.com/lv3/20667" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" name="VideoPlayer" width="480" height="382" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" /> http://g4tv.com/games/xbox-360/37120...of-war/review/ |

Did anyone get in on the Halo Reach Legendary edition preorder for $60 on Amazon while it lasted?

In case there's anyone that hasn't played this yet:

Tuesday (April 27th) is an All Xbox 360 Gold Box Day at Amazon.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Someone refresh my memory, but typically the deals will only be on games and maybe some accesories but not including things like 1600/4000 point cards? I would like to get some points cards as cheap as possible with the the summer coming up.
|
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
I don't ever recall seeing point cards in the Gold Box deals.
|
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
I've never seen points as a featured sale, though often the 4000 point card will drop to around $41. That's about the best Amazon deal I've seen since the death of the ECA discount.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
After tweaking my Amazon account to try and get games in the Quick Picks section, I finally got one today: Super Mario Galaxy 2 for $47.49. Since they don't charge until it ships and Amazon is offering a $20 credit, I bit on it. Off to finish the first one.....

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Today's Gold Box Deal is BioShock 2 (360/PS3) for $39.98
Here's the Lightning Deal clues (times are PDT): 6AM - Get ready to tussle with an infamous company of misfits. 9AM - Prepare to journey to the darkest reaches of space in this RPG hit. 11AM - BioWare’s deepest universe to date just got bigger... 2PM - Rock out with your Stratocaster. 4PM - A legendary war between two of science-fiction’s most popular characters. 6PM - Charge up your Xbox 360 controllers. 8PM - This hit franchise comes to life on Xbox 360. My guesses are Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age Origins: Awakenings, a guitar controller, Aliens vs Predator, a controller charger and I don't know about the last one. People on CAG are guessing it's Dragon Ball: Raging Blast. |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
11AM - New Vegas?
4PM - AVP? |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
I'd go for a good price on AVP. But it's currently listed at $54.99, so I imagine it'll be priced around $40.
