That Bioshock deal at Wallyworld is fantastic for someone that hasn't ventured into the world of Rapture yet. Amazing, amazing games.

I'm really looking forward to dusting off my 360 controller. Been hearing so many good things about them.

Even had a couple WM gift cards laying around so they were 'free'.

Will probably play a few 'lesser' games first (need to finish the Halo series), and save the Bioshocks for later this year.

I had no Prime for 2 years, then they offered me 1 month, then there was a thing where if you added certain books to your cart you were offered a 3 month membership, so in all I got 4 months for free this year.

What were they charging for shipping? Amazon has the same bundle for 48.99 right now.

My shipping charge was $2.41 and tax was similar. So only saved about 4 bucks if you have Prime. In hindsight, I probably should have just ordered from Amazon. i've already beaten and sold Bioshock but I wanted to try the sequel and figured I'd give the first another playthrough too.

I also picked up Wolfenstein. Major cheap stuff lately.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

After you figure tax and shipping, Amazon's prolly only $4-$5 bucks more. Still a good deal.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot (360) for $7.99

It doesn’t hold a candle to the first game, but still a decent FPS

Super Street Fighter IV now has the $10 video game credit. With a base price of $40, that aint too shabby at all.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

The PS3 version is 36.99 as well. I'm in for $27, and if possible, I'll reorder Super Mario Galaxy with the credit.

Thanks.

Questions in regards to each:

- SSFIV - would there be any reason at all to buy SFIV if I'm getting SSFIV and haven't already?

- L4D2 - is playing L4D a must, before L4D2? I've been wanting L4D for a while, but never got around to picking it up.

Nope, not at all. L4D2 is basically the same as the first one, but with different boards and some additions in terms of weapons, zombie types, etc.

Nope. I've been a big Street Fighter 4 fan, and Super pretty much improves on everything so there really isn't much of a point in the old one now, as far as I can tell.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

Thanks guys. Just ordered both. Went to Newegg for L4D2 though - they've got it for the same price, and I'll get a few cents back through fatwallet, so why not?

My 360 is gonna be busy (finally!).

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

I have to use my Bioshock 2 credit soon....I'm debating on ordering Madden 11 (yes, I'm a glutton for NFL games) or Halo Reach. I wanted something that has a gaming credit. I was hoping NCAA 11 would have a gaming credit...but nothing yet.

^^ Man, I REALLY want an Xbox 360 for the plasma in the bedroom but the wife will absolutely flip out if I do it... I'm so on the fence about it. What a great deal.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

Saving 20% off the Arcade system is a hell of a deal (ahem, even if it's not an AMAZON deal). Now that I can transfer easily back and forth using a USB stick, I'm tempted to pick up an extra system for the bedroom, but like you, it might result in divorce, which would siginifant increase the total system cost.
