Where? I searched Amazon but didn't see this on sale.

It's easier to just go to the Videogame Deal of the Day page, then scroll down to Lightning Deals.

That seems like a small, yet diverse, selection for the 50% off.

Basically matching the Kmart and TRU sales. We'll see if they add Saints Row 3 and Halo tomorrow.

I had a $10 credit burning a hole in my virtual pocket, so I picked up MW3 and Skyrim off that Amazon sale. $75 bucks seemed like a good deal for those new games.

But not only am I just starting Arkham City, I still have Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, LA Noire and a few other games sitting unplayed on my shelf.

I don't know what's wrong with me.

You have the "spiderbite" syndrome. I am just recovering from it. I am about to put my PSP for sale on ebay with a ton of games that I never got around to touching. I am giving my newer DS to my kid as an upgrade for his and dumping all the games he doesn't want. I recently got rid of all my Wii games since it never gets played and have gotten rid of several PS3 games that I was either never going to finish or never played. In addition to that, I have probably gone thru a dozen 360 games in the last few months, played them to see if I wanted to finish them, and got rid of a bunch.

I am in the middle of Bioshock right now. No...not Bioshock 2 but the original. I have decided to never do this again. I tend to get a system and go crazy buying shit when prices are good only to never get around to playing them. Then by the time I can play them, they are going for around 10 to 15 bucks used and/or new. I can't do this anymore.

I am becoming a one game gamer from now on. But the crazy thing is...I still want to pull the trigger on all of these sales even though I know I shouldn't. It is a sickness.

I am good at clearing out the chaff (dumped a bunch of WII, PS3 and 360 games a few months ago.) It's just hard for me to pass up a deal where I'm getting two games for less than 40 bucks each that'll be more than that for quite a while.

Of course I say that and then these sales happen

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

I've done the same - I've stockpiled so many games since early September and just haven't had time to play them all. If I had known there would be so many sales beyond the release day credits that I used to justify my purchases, I could have saved some money. Oh well - I still saved money on each one and will play them in the months ahead. The good news is that I literally can't seen another new release I'll want (after today) until Mass Effect 3 in March.

I want to buy Skyrim in that B1G1 50%, but there's not a second game I want to drop that kind of cash on. Too bad I can't go halfsies on it with someone!

Just a heads up, it's collector's edition day. Right now they have Dark Soul's CE and the Hardened Edition of MW3 back in stock for both systems. Better hurry!

I really didn't need to know that.

Ordered Dark Souls because I must hate myself.

Haha, trust me, I’m wishing I didn’t see that either. I picked up the hardened edition and will probably pick up Souls as well. I already have both of the regular editions, but didn’t open either yet, so shouldn’t have a problem returning them.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

I generally don't spend any more $ on CoD games so I wasn't really tempted by the Hardened Edition for more than a few seconds. But damn you, Dark Souls, and your masochism... Why can't I quit you?

Did Dark Souls take you into a tent and take you places you've never been before ( aka anal rape)?

This thread has taken a very creepy turn and sadly I very much wish I was a part of it.

Potentially great deal for those with a Mastercard:

Amazon's sales keep getting better as Amazon is now offering $10 off $100 Electronics and Toys Purchases, along with a future coupon good for $10 off $50 Electronics and Toys, when you checkout using coupon code 8C65VF3Y and pay with a MasterCard!

The best thing is that this coupon stacks with their current Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off Video Game Sale on select titles!
Using this deal, I got Skyrim and MW3 for $75.48. Now what makes it even more interesting is that today there's a used game trade in bonus as part of their Prelude to Black Friday deals. I only wanted Skyrim, so I immediately went to this page and sold MW3 back to them for $38.50. So with a pending trip to the UPS store, I got Skyrim for $37.
