I know reviews aren't everything, but why all the love for Sonic Unleashed? Didn't it get blasted in every review?

I think teamxbox gave it a 7.0, which feels good to me for a game I just got for $21.00. The only part that reviewer didn't like was the "darker" parts of the game with the Sonic werehog or whatever. Besides, I've just been in the mood for a platformer lately.

Prolly 'cause it's cheap. :lol:

But seriously, I was wondering the same thing. The demo for the last one made me not want to buy it so I can't imagine this game is any better.

Yeah, the critical reviews were interesting. "Not great for a platform game but good for a Sonic game" is not exactly a quote for the marquee.
That said, I still bought it.

Many mediocre $60 games make terrific $20 games.

Not online, but I went to a RS Friday morning and was in line when they opened the doors....however I couldn't find them anywhere in the store, until a couple minutes later where others had already jacked all the DS3s they had....

Pissed, I grabbed one of their sale ads, walked next door to Walmart (who were matching anyone else's BF ad), and walked out with my 29.99 controller!

Ditto, it apparently sold out within an hour or so of going live at 3 AM (EST) :(.
