There's also a $20 credit for Bulletstorm.

What's the deal with the credits these days? Does Amazon still give it to ALL preorders or just the preorders after the promotion was posted?

I've already got a Bulletstorm preorder. Wondering if I should cancel and place a new order.

yeah when they first added the 10 dollar it was not going to be applied... When I , and a few at cag, emailed them they said it would not be applied but that they would make a one time exception. My thinking is they were experimenting with the response on that, and now that the 20 dollar card is offered, and I am sure they got slammed with emails, they tweeted that it would work on all pre-orders.

Since when do they not have a pre-order guarantee?

Here is the email...

Hello,

I understand your concern about receiving $10 promotional certificate for purchasing
"Bulletstorm - Epic Edition."

In order to take advantage of this promotion, you must place a qualifying order during the specified promotion period while supplies last. We're unable to apply special discounts to items ordered before or after the dates of the promotional offer.

As you've placed the order before we listed the promotion on our website, your order is ineligible to receive the $10 promotional certificate.

However, I've made an exception to our standard policy and issued a $10 promotional certificate to your account. You can use this funds the next time you order an item shipped and sold by Amazon.com. You'll see your available promotional balance at checkout--this amount will be applied to your next order automatically without entering a claim code.

Your promotional balance doesn't appear in Your Account but will always display when you place an order.

I am not sure what the thinking is but it could be that the pre-order price guarantee may be looked at as the price you pay for the product, not any dlc/future gift cards you get. I read through there and I can see how a lawyer could argue that the price guarantee does not include any other future gains....only the out of pocket price... I really think Amazon was experimenting with Bulletstorm....

If you email CS about such matters you will often get an email like that one. In my experience, it doesn't matter if you email them or not. You will get your promo credit. Some CS reps just aren't hip to the program.

I always just cancel my old pre-order and put in a new order when these vouchers happen. None of the worry and is a whole lot less trouble than dealing with customer service.

I always do nothing when these vouchers happen, and I always get the promotion.

So basically it's just SDers, FWers, and CAGers ignoring the first rule of deal-finding: NEVER CALL! ;)

Preorder from within Home Central Plaza to get a jetpack costume for your avatar as well.

Just saw the tweet. Glad they're not trying to pull that shit again.

Suckers - they said if you pre-ordered Bullestorm, NOT Bulletstorm which most of you probably did. Ha ha.

At least you still get $20 off if you pre-order Balletstorm and Black Swan together.

Amazon upped the future credit on Portal 2 pre-orders to $20: http://amzn.to/gLXZOo

On top of the $54.99 price and release-date delivery

The PS3 version is showing up as only available via third party sellers.

Yeah, @amazongames already tweeted that they're working on fixing that. It'll be there.

Don't forget, all day goldbox deals at Amazon today. The DOTD is Dragon Age II for $40 and here are the rest of the guesses from SD:

6:00 AM PDT - If you like the Blob... (de Blob 2?)
8:00 AM PDT - Experience the thrill of the chase and the rush of the escape (Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit?)
11:00 AM PDT - Give boring shooters the boot. (Bulletstorm?)
2:00 PM PDT - Discover new sound cues on your games (Ear Force X31 Wireless Headphones/Mic)
4:00 PM PDT - Take a sprawling vacation to Titan. (Dead Space 2?)
7:00 PM PDT - Who don't you know? (You Don't Know Jack?)

You don't know jack was just 19.99...and now it is back up to 29.99...I am going to look into my magic balls and see that it will be...19.99...

I wonder if Bulletstorm will break the 30 level....

Tempted on Dragon Age 2. Damn it. Not sure if the 360 or PC version is better; I know Origins had a better PC release.

Broken record, I know, but amazon and the publishers are really beating me over the head telling me never to preorder major games and just wait a couple of weeks after release. I haven't learned my lesson yet, but my head is getting softer.
