You can search for only HD streaming titles on the Netflix website.

According to the Netflix PR announcement, over 3 million Wii's have connected to Netflix since its debut six months ago. Impressive numbers.

Wii RemotePlus Priced For The U.S.

According to Nintendo, the Wii RemotePlus will be released on November 7 and priced at US$39.99. It features on-board Wii MotionPlus.

Fling The Wii RemotePlus With FlingSmash

Late last month, a retail listing showed a FlingSmash bundle with the then unrevealed Wii RemotePlus. That controller is real and so is the bundle.

According to an official Nintendo release, the bundle will go on sale November 7. It's priced at US$49.99.

The game was originally supposed to be out this past summer. The onboard MotionPlus addition seems to be the reason for the delay.

Nice. I'll be swapping one of my normal remotes for one of these then.

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX

Thanks for the Boom Blox suggestion, that looks perfect.

The system already comes with the Sports and Resort. I haven't played them, but the Mario Galaxy games look pretty difficult. The Mario Party game possibly though, thanks.

My family's favorite casual friendly games:

1. New Super Mario Bros. Wii
2. Mario Kart Wii
3. Wii Sports Resort
4. Kirby's Epic Yarn
5. Just Dance 2

Also when buying extra Wii remotes, make sure to buy the new 'Wii Remote Plus' with built in Wii MotionPlus.

You can tell it's the new remote by the curved writing under the Wii logo at the bottom.

More retro goodness coming to Wii. November 30th release of Namco Museum Megamix will feature 24 classic and remix games. Some are carry-overs from the previous Museum remix with new games added - glad to see the original pac-man being included!

Info from gamespot.com...

...The Namco Museum line of games hasn't added a new virtual wing in over a year, but a new installment in the long-running retro compilation series is on the horizon. Namco Bandai Games America today announced Namco Museum Megamix for the Wii, a collection of 18 straight ports of the company's arcade efforts, with an extra six updated "Remix" versions pulled from its extensive catalog.

Gator Panic Remix is just one of 24 titles included in the new Namco Museum Megamix.
The Namco Museum series has been compiling and rereleasing the publisher's arcade classics and obscure older games onto new systems since the days of the original PlayStation. Namco Museum Megamix will be the series' second go-around on Nintendo's console. In 2007, the publisher launched Namco Museum Remix on the system, a collection of nine arcade ports and five remixed games, all of which will also be included in Namco Museum Megamix.

Asterisk indicates a title that was included on Namco Museum Remix)
