I thought I read this week that the TMNT game was going to be a brawler like SSB. If it has any Team Ninja influence, that would be great. It won't be Ninja Gaiden hardcore.

Kid Icarus, of course is a theoretical must-have. Pikmin 3 has an automatic bid based on its predecessors.

So the wife decided she wants us to have a Wii as a gift to ourselves this year (and probably to get me out of my Rock Band room). Amazon has them in stock as of the morning, which was nice.

Then, much to my horror, she said that she wants Wii Fit as my gift to her. I've asked her if she wants something easier to get, like a lock of Bigfoot's hair or a Saints Superbowl victory, but this is what she wants. So, just out of curiousity, what are my chances of grabbing one of these bastards before Christmas without going through Schrute-like hoarders with big mark-ups?

Nevermind...I think I found one for list price at a legit etailer. Well, wherehouse.com, but I've never had a problem with them.

I've actually seen a couple of Wii Fits lately at Target randomly. I'm sure they sold out quickly after I saw them though. When I got mine, I had to deal with getting the bundle from Walmart with some other accessories.

Club Nintendo is open for business. Unfortunately nothing you had previously registered counts for shit at least as far as I can tell.

Yikes, site is really slow. Managed to add Wii Fit for 80 coins. There's not a lot there to redeem the coins for, but the DS game holder thing looks cool.

I purposefully haven't registered anything, because I knew that in the past, they've occasionally offered free things for registering products. Unfortunately, the rewards aren't very good right now.

Actually all of your Wii and DS games are transferred. You then go to earn coins and do a survey to get the credit for each one. 10 coins for valid VC/WiiWare, 30 coins for DS and 50 coins for Wii. The issue right now is the website which is completely screwed up. I managed to do the survey on 3 items, but it took many tries to get them to work. I already have enough stuff transferred to go straight to platinum so I hope they get the site working. I just don't know if I want the Game and Watch DS game or wait for other goodies.

It's one of the most addictive puzzle games ever created.

The site is finally working for me, albeit really slow.

Electronic Arts has been rapped by the Advertising Standards Authority for misleading viewers over the graphics of its Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 Wii ads.

The ads featured the sportsman swinging a Wii remote, but showed Xbox 360 gameplay footage at the same time, giving the wrong impression of the visual quality of the Nintendo version of the game.

The publisher explained to the ASA that footage of the Wii game "would not be of broadcast quality" and had included text in the ad that the game was available on multiple formats in an effort to avoid confusion.

"They explained that Wii footage would not be of broadcast quality, and the originating agency had thought it preferable to use the Xbox footage, which was closer to broadcast definition, than to 'up the resolution' of Wii footage to broadcast quality," said the ASA.
D'oh!

Interesting style. I'm not sure I could play it for very long. I think the stark contrast would really hurt my eyes after awhile.

Good concept though.

Awesome stuff. Is there a rumored launch time frame for Mad World or are we still in the dark on that one?

Sega doesn't exactly have the best track record as of late(to my knowledge), what are the chances of this and Bayonetta actually turning that ship around?

Sega is only publishing.

Trust in Platinum Games.

Oh I get that, but Clover didn't set the sales world on fire either, hence my question. With Sega on publishing duties advertising and getting this game out there is on them so we don't end up with another Clover situation.
