From the reviews I have read it sounds like Shaun White on Wii is the best version to get. However, I am still behind on all the AAA stuff released on 360 and PS3 so its doubtful any Wii games get on my radar until they hit $20.

What's the best horseshoe game for Wii? I've seen a couple games with a horseshoe minigame and I was wondering what the best one was.

Finally joined the ranks of the rhythm gang by getting the Best Buy GHIII Bundle (GHIII and two guitars for $79) then got GH:Aerosmith on the side for $25.

Because stores are still forcing bundles. $350 for a bundle is reasonable. You figure $250 for the Wii, another $50 for WiiPlay(remote), and 1 extra game at $50.

The Target near me on black friday had dozens of Wii-onlys for retail as well as a bundle. First time I had ever seen that many Wii's in stock anywhere.

All of the local Gamestops, at least prior to Thanksgiving, had signs up saying Wii in stock! I'm guessing they sold out.

This was about 6 pm that same evening so the rush was well over when I checked the Target. Also you can still get them on Amazon for 318.00.

I think eBay is trying to toot their own horn trying to recapture their "golden years".

You got that right man. Ive had the Wii for a year and the since getting the PS3 its all but become a paper weight! In the 3 months of having the PS3 Ive gotten double the amount of games I have for the Wii!

Theres quite a few coming out. No more heroes 2, Mad World, Mario Galaxy 2
Pikmin 3, and a new Zelda.

I've been meaning to get back into Super Paper Mario, I got into it a lot....then Mario Galaxy came around and took my time away.

Has there been any real time table for a new Mario, Zelda or Pikmin 3? No More Heroes was terrible so they can keep that one. Mad World and Sin and Punishment 2 are the only 2 on my radar for 2009. Knowing Treasure S&P2 will be so hard I'll pass on it as well.

Yeah, NMH2, Mad World and S&P are likely for next year. Maybe Pikmin at Christmas. I haven't seen a single blurb about Mario or Zelda sequels. Those are nothing more than a pipe dream.

Can someone help me out. Lately when I load a game it takes forever to load. It just hangs on a black screen for minutes at a time. Sometimes I have to unplug the Wii to get it working again. The wiimote isn't even synced during this 'hang.' What's the deal and how do I fix it? I did some googling but came up empty. Is there a way to clear the cache or something?

Theres always plans for a new Zelda and Mario, but are they planning on releasing something in 09 and actually working on these?

Don't think so, it's been glowing at me for about a week, but it's been doing it for a while. At least since summer. So there have been updates since then.

How come you haven't updated it yet then Corvin? :P

I downloaded MM9 but mostly it's been silent since I finished Okami over the summer. My daughter has been playing Go Diego Go this week, but I haven't bothered with the update because when she's ready to play I don't want to make her sit through the update.

That and the one-two-seven punch of Gears 2, GeoWars 2, Rock Band 2, Half-life 2, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Pac-Man: CE & Little Big Planet.

I would download the update and see if the problem continues. It seems like I had that same problem after one of the patches, but it went away after the next one.

Yep. There have been a couple of updates. The latest should 3.4 I believe and that came out a couple of weeks ago.
