Yep. I've been playing them all as well and I'd rank them:

RB: Med
GHII: Med
GHIII: Med
RB: Hard
GHII: Hard
RB: Expert
GHIII: Hard
GHII: Expert
GHIII: Expert

I was able to struggle through the last few songs I was stuck on Guitar Expert, except for Green Grass. I kept failing it during the beginning of the second solo, so I decided to try it on practice just so I could see what the whole song was like. After struggling through it on practice, I really can't see how I will be beating that song on expert any time soon (or ever). Kind of sucks since I am so close to finishing it.

I don't know how many times I've failed it before finally passing. Now I either get 4 stars or fail at 95-97%. At this point, most of the 2nd solo is not too bad for me unless I get off time, but the ascending triplet madness at the end usually gets me unless I'm full on star power going in and can hit at least one during that part.

To me, Flirtin' with Disaster is actually a tougher solo because is very little about patterns. I finally 4 starred it yesterday and that's only because I managed to keep a combo going during one of the verses and chorus.

Yeah, I am slaughtered by the triplet's. I think when I first hit them my brain exploded and I failed it almost immediately. I'm sure I could struggle past that part, but I think there was later parts in that song that seemed even harder for me. Maybe I will try playing through it a few more times in practice and then try again.

My wife and i are working through Medium now and even with that finding some songs pretty tough. She about stabbed me with a drumstick when she kept failing Detroit Rock City. When our band loses fans i think she takes it as a personal offense.

The difference between Medium and Hard is enormous. Or maybe I'm just biased because I still can't make my hands do what my brain is telling them.

Stone Temple Pilots - "Sex Type Thing"
Weezer - "El Scorcho"

I think going from medium to hard on Rock Band is pretty smooth, unlike GH3. There aren't that many orange notes, but just enough to 'break you in' for them. Once you get the hang of moving your hand up one position from green to red, and be able to go back & forth, it's not hard at all.

Those are some pretty good GD tracks. I would think Friend of the Devil would have been in there (due to it being one of their really well known songs). I also would have loved Terrapin Station.

Personally, i can't wait to get my hands on Sugar Magnolia. Very very played out i understand but it is a song that my wife and i have always loved.

Yeah, Def Leppard's Hysteria is a bit ballad-y. Now if I wanted a ballad-like one from them, I'll take Bringing on the Heartache with Switch 625 on the back end.

Can I ask a favor from the VGT community... I need a screen shot of any of the controller directions. You know.. when you sign in, it flashes the screen on how to play whatever particular instrument is plugged in.. I need a nice big pretty pic of any of them (though the mic and the game controller is the one I'd like most.)

Usually when people post bullshit pipedream DLC rumours, they're crushed really quick as in "hey, this is a complete lie. We're not working on this right now." This seems to be more of an "It's in the pipeline, but still could be pulled due to rights issues" or something of that nature. I'd guess that we'll see most of this in 2008.

mmmhmmm... I reserve judgment until we know for a fact this isn't part of the full album.

Question: Can you save downloaded songs from Rockband or GH II/III onto a memory card?

Two things about that list: 1. That's a great list of songs BY ALL THE SAME ARTISTS WE ALREADY HAVE. 2. the "rumored" DLC that has popped up every couple of weeks has been wrong EVERY time. Seriously, we're like 0 for 14, on those actually being right. So I'm not putting much stock into this one.

There's no Grateful Dead or Blur in the game right now is there? Also, the list that was posted is incomplete. It also mentioned a song called Still Alive which I'm hoping is the closing song from Portal.

Here's where all of this got started: http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/...t=4829&start=0

A guy cracked open a .bin file that was part of the DLC and that's where this list came from. So it DOES come from Rock Band though it certainly isn't official or confirmed.
