This will be the first Deus Ex game I've played on a console. The first two were on PC.

I've got it pre-loading right now. Looking forward to trying it tonight (9 PM, PT, I hope). I got it from Green Man Gaming for about $28 before they raised the price. I "traded in" an extra copy of King's Bounty that I had on their service but had totally forgotten about -- that dropped it another $2.50.

Too bad my computer is chugging right now with no obvious fix. Not sure how well it'll play at the moment and am probably looking at having to re-install Windows to fix it (groan).

I forgot all about this. I guess I'm SOL to get the Augmented Edition for PC.

Graphics are pretty average.
i am trying to go with stealth, but it is much harder and i always wind up just shooting my way through.
i don't know if this is a bug, but i have the tranquilizer rifle and when i try to aim, there is no aiming recepticle. weird...

Looking at those screenshots, it looks like the PS3 is a little sharper in detail, but a little more washed out on the color palate. In any case, it looks pretty good in either format.

If it's really a gift card, not a gaming coupon, then they should. But without a print ad, it's always a crap shoot at Best Buy. My local store refuses to price match Fry's under any circumstances, even though that's a violation of corporate policy.
In any case, it can't hurt to ask.

Can you elaborate more? What is "them"? Piraxis, credits?

I've been playing it for like 4 hours, and no problems. My only complaint is overly long load times (25-30 seconds on an SSD). Some of the textures are pretty low resolution too. I'll blame consoles for that.

FYI, Best Buy recently changed their policy on price matching. It used to be they'd factor in gift cards and match them. Now they've changed it to where they only look at the price and won't factor in gift cards or any other freebies that come with a purchase. Seems to be corporate-wide, as the language on their website was updated to it reflect it.

Yeah, load times are surprisingly bad for me with an SSD too. Only played about 45 min, but so far it seems fine.
