I have no problem w/ the Aero game, well at least the early stuff . Anything new coming out is fine with me. U2 would be fun, or Who, Queen etc.

However, I thought that there was also going to be other bands/songs as well on this version?

$50 is pricey. It would be a no brainer at $30 and a decent impulse buy at $40.

That being said, who am I kidding, I'll get it upon release...

You're right. It was buried in the press release: "As fans progress through their careers in the game, they can rock out to scores of Aerosmith's greatest hits, as well as songs from celebrated artists that the band has either performed with or has been inspired by in some way."

Run DMC, perhaps?

A bass career mode would be nice.

I'll get the Aero game when it hits $30. I still think GHIII has the ugliest character designs ever, and that screenshot isn't doing Aerosmith any favors.

I like the Aerosmith stuff, especially the early stuff, but I'd rather buy a 500 (or 440, seriously) pack or two of the songs I like than buy a $30-$50 disk.

Save up three items to use on him. Hit one give it a second or two hit the second and follow with the third. Obviously do this when you know he has a long string of notes coming up.

That will wipe 'em out in no time.

Agreed. Whoever designed the male singer should be beaten with a lead pipe until he resembles that character.

Don't forget to download "Dream On" it's only free for a couple of days, starting now!

I'm not going to get it, because they'll use the free download numbers as "GHIII DLC Purchase" numbers to try to say that their DLC is selling better than RB's.

I have not played it yet, but everyone on CAG says it's ridiculously easy.

Now that's just silly.

And the song really is ridiculously easy. I missed 1 note on sightread and FC'ed it on my 2nd try. Quality song though.

Posted this over in the Aerosmith game thread, but yes, it is very simple. It's also not the original version, but a 2007 re-recording. I enjoyed it though.

Yeah, I nearly FCed it on my first play through on hard. Not a bad song, but way, way easier than most of the other DLC they've put out thus far (I'm looking at you Foo Fighters pack).

That was the most annoying thing to me. It was very obvious it was a much older Steven Tyler singing.

I think a nice happy medium is the classic rock pack. That Foo Fighters and Velvet Revolver stuff is just cruel.

The majority of the older masters have been either lost or destroyed. Any songs from those albums in GH:Aerosmith will be re-recorded masters.

And give them another "purchase" to rub in Harmonix's face? No thanks. I'd be interested in taking a look at the real numbers and see how well Activision is doing compared to Harmonix on DLC. I doubt they're even close, considering the pricing difference and the small amount that they have available.

Yeah, I figured as much. I thought it sounded pretty good.
