Can you beat the game on Easy? Because I really want the experience of going through the game. Of course I'll also play you online matches, but I really want to do the coop campaign. I get my XBOX on Wednesday :D

Here's what I'm wondering - if I'm past 1 year since purchase, and my 360 needs repair for something OTHER THAN the RROD, I'm SOL, right? However, I'm guessing it wouldn't be too awfully difficult to "create" the RROD problem (I think the towel wrap trick could be used to actually create the RROD?).....so, if say my DVD drive stops reading right (this was the problem the first time I sent my 360 in), but then I create the RROD, when I send it in, will they charge me a repair fee for that part of the 360 that was NOT related to the RROD?

Sorry for the convoluted example/question, just trying to decide if I should send my 360 in even though nothing's really wrong, before I'm at 1 year (early November).

Awesome :D I'm interested in any game you can easily beat by yourself on easy while I tag along :) If I'm correct in Halo as long as one of us is alive the other keeps respawning?

What are some recommendations for Live games, and a definitive online coop list? I'm interested in a plane game and a racing game... Project Gotham Racing any good? Tennis would be awesome also.

I like platformers and shooters but not by myself, because I can't beat them. Coop might be just the ticket.

So PGR4 comes out tomorrow right? Any reviews?

Also, I read that the Geometry Wars (Waves) that comes with it is crazy hard, like you never get any weapon power-ups or extra lives - that seems kinda lame.

They wouldn't send me a coffin yet. They want to have me see the problem with other games. Maybe I should have lied, but I'll get there soon enough. Just another hoop to jump through, but as long as it's that easy to get through.

I love how the CS rep acts like she's never heard of this problem before. "Um, so let me get this straight.... Your Xbox is freezing and requiring restarts?.... Is that right?"

$10 is pretty steep for Tetris, but at least it's better than the $40 version that came out on disc a few months ago. I wonder how team play works. This one will probably be a pass for me unless it ends up being revolutionary the way Pac-Man CE was.

For the uninformed, Tetris Splash is a six-player Xbox Live enabled version of Tetris that is all about going back to the basics and is simply solid, clean and untainted Tetris fun. And don't be worried about the "Splash" in Tetris Splash, because it is nothing more than decoration as the game is focused towards an aquatic theme with marine life and watery wetness all around. So, nothing crazy that'll change up what Tetris is all about. With three different game modes, solo or multiplayer play local or over Xbox Live and even an aquatic screensaver mode Tetris Splash sounds like a solid purchase for Tetris enthusiasts at 800 Microsoft points.

I'm curious what the screensaver is like in Tetris.

For anybody that has a Japanese Silver account, there are some trailers that I don't believe are on the US marketplace from Tokyo Game Show. There's Bladestorm, a really cool looking medieval/European style Dynasty Warriors games from Koei, the expansion game for Phantasy Star Universe, the Gears of Wars styled Gundam: Operation Troy, tri-Ace's Infinite Undiscovery and the no-longer-a-fighting-game Guilty Gear 2.

I think I'll pass on Tetris. I've bought that game enough over the years.

I haven't purchased a 360 yet, if the Sony PS3 $100 price drop occurs this month, hopefully Microsoft will follow.

I dislike FPS, so the only game on my plate that I want is Viva Pinata. The new Pink controller will go good with that game :)

Even if Sony puts out a 40GB PS3 for $399.99 I don't believe you'll see a 360 price drop. I think you'll get the 'holiday' bundle packs, premium and elites with 2 games included.

New Carcassone pack up in the marketplace - 300 pts - Kings and Barons .. Not sure how it works, but my opponent got extra points for her castles, as well as extra points for her roads.

Hrm, it appears the set doesn't correspond to any of the expansions released for the tabletop game (at least as far as i know). Any place we could look to get details on what this expansion really is?

Thanks for the review. I was on the fence about buying Tetris for the 100th time, but it sounds like a good distraction. At least till Puzzle Quest comes out.

Is the screensaver option available in the demo....I cannot read the review at work, but is the screensaver cool at all? It would be nice to have something like that on in the background during a gathering or something.

And does it integrate with the dashboard or do you have to launch Tetris Splash to use it?
