Someone let Pixy know. This will justify his purchase of the 360.

I'm enjoying the hell out of Super Puzzle Fighter HD. Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've had a string of really competitive matches last night (including a nice round of two with eatntae). Only getting blown out of the water a few times. This game is the new time suck.

Mass Effect has an official release date -- November 20 in North America and November 23 in Europe.

http://masseffect.bioware.com/forums...2719&forum=104

6 months "late" -- and I use that term advisedly, since Bioware never officially announced a Spring release -- but I'd rather wait and have a good game than get it "on time" and get a buggy or incomplete game.

Ooohh, an XBLA sale. And to think I almost bought Zuma recently...

I might just pick up all 4. We'll see.

It is the Virtua Fighter 5 model, but if you don't put any of the stickers on it, it looks just like a regular XBox arcade stick.

The button layout is good, and the joystick park clicks when you move it. I don't know how that will be when playing a game though. It has a port to plug your headset into as well.

If you want an arcade stick, go for it.

im looking for this and cant this anywhere? Any clue where you got it from?

Dig Dug and Gauntlet are pretty much just the classic games, right? Any updates, graphical or otherwise?

R.I.P my first xbox

It would freeze up a lot and then the dreaded rings of death. The rings went away but it would always freeze.

Fortunately I had the 2 year warranty at BB and I've already replaced it with an HDMI model and its damn quiet too.

The first episode of HEROES is up for download in HD for FREE right now. It appears to be the 53 minute version though. 2.4GB if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure how I feel about this game. It was a pretty good shooter when I could figure out where the game wanted me to go, but there were one or two times when I had no idea where I was supposed to go next. A little more guidance from the game would have been helpful. If you're going to keep me on rails, make sure I can see the rails!

Gameplay itself was fun. The time-shift techniques put a unique spin on an otherwise standard shooter, and elevated the demo (and presumably the game) from "same old" to "worth checking out." I'll see how the reviews look, but if the demo is representative, I'll probably buy this.

I'm really going to have to get a bigger HD with more free HD material coming out. 20gb is just not enough.

I'm thinking of just starting the download now and stopping it. I don't have room for it at present but if it's not in my download history, I doubt I'll be able to download it for free later.

I ordered from Gamestop.com, they (and EB) seemed to be the only places that have them. At least when I checked.

Didn't the free Austin Powers flick still adhere to the marketplace guidelines and automatically delete itself after a certain period of time?

HEROES will NOT delete itself though (TV SHOW)....and that being 2.4GB, is about 20% of the available 360 HDD size.

Bigger HDD is almost a necessity if you watch TV shows and download a LOT of map-packs.

Movies get deleted but TV shows do not. I've been thinking about downloading the HD versions of Star Trek TOS but I don't have the space. And I can't see spending $180 on a 120gb HD. Maybe when the 65nm core systems come out I'll trade in my premium for and elite.

How many times can you watch only the first episode of a show though? Honestly?
