Played the skate demo, pretty fun, I like how you use the right stick for the board, left stick for your body. Haven't played a Tony Hawk game in a couple years, but it feels more realistic than that. Demo times out after 30 mins, but you can go back into it.

Anyone check out the video for that "Official Army Game" who's name I can't remember right now? That and COD4 both look like kick ass games.
Also, I finally played the Stranglehold demo and normally I have no interest in that crime genre, but I have to admit that even with Chow Yun Fat sliding all over the place like a oiled up whore in a oil wrasslin' match, it was pretty fun.

K so I am buying one of those Halo 360s and the limited edition.
Should I just preorder now from Amazon and pay no tax or do you thing there will be a deal that would counteract having to pay an extra 45 in tax?

Can someone explain to me what Puzzle Fighter is? I'd never even heard of it until hearing all this talk about it coming to XBLA.

I agree about the 20GB drive. It is way too small now. I found myself deleting some of the free map packs I had for GRAW/GRAW2. I know I can always redownload, but it is very annoying. I can only keep about 2-4 demos on my system.
I would love to upgrade to an ELITE, but my wallet says nope.

Movies are rentals. TV shows are purchases. And you're right about XBLA : The games are tiny -- the Stanglehold demo = 200 Live arcade games.

The default space on the HD is like 13.something gigs right? Even though it is actually 20, if they are 7 gigs you cannot use, they should advertise it as such. But of course that doesn't sound too good.
I can see how space could become an issue in the future. But no way I'm buying a bigger drive at what they're charging, so I'm going to make the 13 gig work. Just won't hold onto demos that long.

Well, I demo'd Street Trace: NYC (awful title) and it was actually very fun, so I bought it. It's sort of a cross of Twisted Metal, Tony Hawk, and Jet Set Radio, on an XBLA budget. It's probably the first worthwhile "racing" game for XBLA. The racing is a lot more fun than the battling. There's a few things that make it annoying at times (too many weapons, race respawning in bad spots) but if you like the demo at all, the game is much better.

I tried the Street Trace: NYC demo too. The ugly-ass characters were thoroughly uninviting but the gameplay intrigued me nonetheless. However, I felt it was a bit too spastic.. it felt like everything was happening at random, so I gave it a pass. It's probably something that you'd get used to but the first impression wasn't too hot for me.
Oh, and Space Giraffe was a total train-wreck disaster of a game.
