Rune Factory is Harvest Moon crossed with a Dungeon RPG.

it's already out. I was checking it out about 1.5 hours ago.

I guess you can also catch monsters or train them to help out on the farm. seems more story driven

Actually i was referring to something i saw on IGN a few weeks back that was a new Harvest Moon game that appeared to be some sort of puzzle game with vegetables in a field.

I've been playing some Rune Factory myself. Kind of a fun game really. There is a method where you can send messages to people on your friend list and according to a character in the game "you get something special."

So if anyone else picks up the title and wants to hit me up, let me know the friend code.

Actually i have an odd question about the DS in general. Is my friend code the same in every single game? I have only played Planet Puzzle League online so have never checked it in any other game.

Friend code is game specific, which is why so many people hate the friend code system.

Blah. I was hoping you had to just enter it into every game but that each game used the same code. Yuk.

So is that LE Brain Age 2 and Red/Black DS combo still coming out Tuesday? I haven't heard much mentioned other than a couple of pics.

I'm posting this again just in case it was missed the first time.. but the new Spyro game for the GBA (yes, the GBA) looks incredible. If you're at all a fan of the GBA Metroid and Castlevania games, give this a little look.. they've even got a new video over the one I posted last time showing off a 50 hit air juggle combo. Most excellent!

Also, here's a scan of some cut scenes from Final Fantasy IV DS.

I can't count how many times I've played through this game but I will gladly do it again when this comes out.

Here is a nice review of the Crimson/black DS. It looks really nice in the pics and the included case looks great too.

If I have more money in the coming months, I may pick up a 2nd DS (the crimson/black) one. Right now I'm super broke though.

Flip, rotate, move pieces in order to form an image.

I love DS thinking games (finally got through all the Normal Picross puzzles (even my favorite, the extra level with the Mario goodness) and I'm on Level 2 of free mode now).

I've definitely been in the mood for games like this. Weird that a company known for its wrestling games is developing a pretty cool puzzler.

So is that basically just a video game form of tangrams?

Also, did anyone pick up Rune Factory? I need someone to trade items with because i have heard they upgrade when you trade things back and forth.

Yeah, that was it. I thought it was a straight up puzzle game involving vegetables or something.

Damm, that looks like a cool game. It's probably similar to Cooking Mama I suppose.

I doubt it is a game, but more of a mixing guide.

I was going to pass on Brain Age 2, but for $15 I think it's worth a shot. I'll probably price match at Best Buy due to Circuit City's recent business decisions.

Anyone heard any updates on Nanostray 2? A release date maybe? I am anxiously awaiting this title and am hoping it gets here before the year's end.

Nothing yet other than it looks damn good and the shortfalls of the first one have been addressed. It SHOULD be out before the end of the year, if I recall, but no date has been set yet.
