I thought that came out here as "Quick Spot," or are you referring to another one?

The Japanese "Unou no Tatsujin: Soukai! Machigai Museum" came out here as "Quick Spot," but given the state of the DS in Japan I wouldn't be surprised if there's a dozen (or two) more titles just like over there. Glad to help though, if that's what you were looking for.

No, Quick Spot doesn't look like that's it. In the trailer, the top screen shows a number and asks which of these doesn't add up to this? And the bottom screen has two additions.

The game I'm talking about has two images, one on top screen and the other on the bottom, and you have to circle the different between them.

Ubisoft is also doing a Spanish training game and a French training game. They sound kind of neat as well if you are interested in languages.

Yeah, that's QuickSpot. Not sure what trailer you saw, but I own QuickSpot and it matches your description. Here's a review:

http://ds.ign.com/articles/775/775287p1.html

Edit: I found the trailer you were talking about, and that's just a bonus minigame. The main gameplay is just "spot the differences".

Just beat PW: Justice for All

I've just completed Justice For All. A fine game, I'd give it 4/5.

Basically more of the same as the last game really, and yes, I did find Case 1 disappointing. I understand this is to ease in new players, and its done in a clever way, but this makes the first case too short.
I also thought it was a shame that the 2nd game didnt have a DS exclusive case like the first one did. However, it's hard not to like this game as it seems to have been created with much care and love. Like Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, It's very well written, with it's mix of animé humour and dramatic stories, and I really cared about what happened to Phoenix and the other characters It's nice this game has continuity, with older characters popping up, and making references to what happened in the last game.
The 4th and last case is well worth waiting for, and really well done IMO
Sadly, by its nature it doesnt seem to have much replay value. What do I do until PW 3 is released?

Actually, I just found the
Spoiler:
dark ending
too where
Spoiler:
Phoenix runs away from court and Engarde is set free. That is an emotional, pretty harsh ending, with the sombre music and I imagined Phoenix in voice-over saying that.
"I ran away from that courtroom and wandered the streets... alone. I never saw Maya again"

I thought that in some ways
Spoiler:
something like that might be put in Phoenix Wright 4 to explain the story of why he is not an attorney anymore? Something bad must have happened.

For those interested, I just finished reviewing the new Madden that comes out this week. EA finally got the DS version right:

That is a very well written review Flay.

It's good to see EA actually making an effort and improving the new version of Madden.

Adding this one to my list. I didn't even realize Namco released it.

GoNintendo links to your review on their site. I just saw that and thought it was pretty cool.

Quick Spot is not an easy as it looks. It certainly can be beaten, but that last difference out of 10 is always the hardest one. It has replay value because it has a Wario Ware kind of mode where you just go through a set as fast as you can before the time runs out. It's not a 100-hour game, but it's $20 worth definitely

Haha, I know. When I went to bed last night, the hits on my review were at about 40. I thought that was pretty good for posting it here and at Gamefaqs. When I woke up this morning, the count was over 1,000. All from GoNintendo.

Pretty neat.

Big ol' honkin' DQIVr scan - http://gonintendo.com/wp-content/upl...7011856596.jpg

Love the use of the top screen in battle mode. Also looks like the world map is still top-down.

It looks identical to the PS1 version, with a few added DS tidbits like the map and character portraits on the top screen. Still, I LOVED that version and am anxiously awaiting a US release date. In typical DQ remake/port fashion, I'm sure there will be even more goodies over the packed PS1 version.

DS deal alert!

Toys R Us is running the Madden deal on their online site. It's supposed to be "Buy a copy of Madden (for any system), Get another game at half price". BUT it's actually coded in the system as "Buy a copy of Madden and get up to 50% off $60 worth of Video Games"

Basically that means you can have 3 $19.99 DS games for $9.99 each or 2 $29.99 games for $14.99 each, as long as you buy a version of Madden (DS included).

The new Megaman games are getting poor reviews... well just claims of being exactly like the other Megaman card fighting games.

When is the new Harvest Moon due out? It is a puzzler isn't it?
