Hotel Dusk was great. I recommend that as well.

Picross: There are 15 additional puzzles for download, divided into 2 packs. Access it through the WiFi section. They range in difficulty, I still haven't gotten through them.

Now PW2 case 4 is getting interesting!

Spoiler:
Somehow, I think Phoenix will have to make a choice. It looks like Engarde is the killer right? Well, if he is, the choice is this - clear his name otherwise he can't save Maya. And the perfect opportunity for loyalties to be torn between duty, and one's friends.
Maybe Von Karma framed him?

And.....

Spoiler:
Oooh, Edgeworth makes an appearance!

Do you have the US version? I picked it up at lunch and it tells me they're coming soon.

I have the US version and saw the same thing ("Coming soon") when I connected on Tuesday night. I haven't checked again since then.

So, are New York Times Crosswords and Etrian Odyssey already impossible to find? No luck online at EB or Best Buy.

Amazon has both for $30 each. Unfortunately, you missed the $19.99 Amazon NYT DotD a week ago or so.

No, I bought it from a friend who imported it. Interesting that the content varies by what region the cartridge's from.

I have the UK version as well. Finished all 330+ puzzles last night and it has had those same 15 available since launch with nothing added. Very pissed at the lack of content now that I have finished all the built in puzzles. There are a ton of extra puzzles to download on the Japanese version.

BTW, got my $19.99 New York Times Crossword puzzle game today and it is very nice. Slick interface with decent writing recognition and a keyboard option. I'm playing more and more of these games and less and less of traditional stuff.

Wow you finished all puzzles Are there any techniques you mind passing on? I still have my SNES so I'm looking to buy the Mario's Super Picross game that came out... anyone know if it was in the States or outside of it?

Whenever I get a move wrong I restart the whole puzzle, even if I'm a move away and I did it by mistake. That way anything I've passed I've done on logic alone.

Thanks! For some reason I always forget Amazon for games, even though they have the best selection by far for older games.

BTW, they have Phoenix Wright 2 for $19.99 if anyone still needs it.

This may have been posted before but Toy R Us has Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on clearance for $9.98 and they are having a special with all clearance items an additional 15% off.

$8.48 plus tax. Not too bad.

Does anyone know the name of the Japanese Picross game for the NDS?

For those looking for another crossword puzzle game, according to IGN.com, 'Nintendo Crossword' will release this November for $19.99!

I may pick up Picross. I'm getting it from Gamefly and I can keep it for $11 (I get 5% off and I have a $5 coupon).

I really didn't run into trouble until the level 8 free mode puzzles. Some of the 25X20 puzzles can be tough even with the hint at the beginning. What I did on some of the really hard ones was to make a paper grid and fill in the parts I was pretty sure I was correct on and restart again and try to get a different couple of hint bars. That was all I ever needed to finish the puzzle the second time through. Sometimes just figuring out one more box can start the chain reaction to finish the whole puzzle. I was able to get through a large portion without any hints, but once you hit the 20X20 and up puzzles you need a hint.

The two extra puzzle packs you get for beating all 10 modes in free and normal mode are actually very easy 25X20 puzzles since they usually have many boxes on each line. I really only had trouble with some of the puzzles on free mode 8,9 and 10.

If you want a challenge, play Picross without the X's I've been doing the daily Picross and after three days I got a No-X daily puzzle mode. Now I'm going back to the easy puzzles and trying to do them without the X's. I have about 5-8 hours tonight to play

It depends on the amount of empty space. Some of the 20X20 ones just require too much guess work and I got tired of replaying the same puzzles.

Planet Puzzle League is the Amazon DotD today for $19.99. Add Phoenix Wright 2 for $19.99, and that's a bitchin' $40 of DS gaming bliss.
