From what I've read, it's 4 player wireless with a single card, but no Wi-fi support.

That's still cool. I may have to check it out. Sounds like a great 4-player game. Never played it before.

Had a real blast playing that on GC w/ the GBA. Loads of fun. I may have to pick up the game just to be able to play on the DS with the wife and kids.

Well, last week I finally got around to putting my DS in a box and slapping the NOA label on it and sent it in to get the hinge repaired (got the label two months ago). Just got an email that it's coming back this way now and I should get it back Monday.

I'm really looking forward to DK: Jungle Climber. Anyone have it or played it yet?

It's a great game. If you enjoyed DK: King of Swing, they took the basic gameplay from that, but added a bunch of new elements that really flesh out the game. King of Swing felt somewhat like a tech demo, whereas Jungle Climber feels like a full game.

I loved the first one, and almost beat it, but after being stuck on the last level for a month, I considered it won, and traded it in for another game... and told myself I would wait for the DS version.

I watched the videos on the Jungle Climber site, and it looks - like you say - a "full game."

I'm soooo hooked on Prism: Light the Way. A friend of mine is importing it and will probably let me borrow it once he gets tired of it (he spends hours on a game, then doesn't touch them again once he beats them until months later). There's 5 of us with DSs at work (that we know of) and we trade games back and forth.

There's also a PC version and you can download the demo here http://uk.download.games.yahoo.net/t...the%20Way.html

It's the full game but it locks out after 30 minutes. The full version is around $20 ($12.99 pounds). I don't know how the DS and the PC version compare, but it looks to me like they are the same (from screenshots of the DS game).

That's a genius way to extend the Blue Dragon franchise and I'm sure it will sell a ton.

My son, who is old enough to know better, learned today that the PS3 is not a jukebox player. You have to actually take out the disc that is in it before putting in a new one. Gotta love slot loaders.

Looks like one of the sleeper DS hits of the Tokyo Game Show is 'Space Invaders Extreme'. It's getting rave reviews from those that have played it:

Wired hands-on preview

IGN hands-on preview

Another cool aspect of the game is that it supports the Arkanoid DS paddle controller. This game just landed on my "to buy" list!

I'm still wondering how the arkanoid paddle will work/feel in conjunction with the DS. Will it have to be placed on a table/desk, etc, to handle right. Will it feel natural to support the DS with one hand and use the other with the control?

I saw Jump Ultimate Stars in an independent game store today. Priced at $59.99 (CDN)! I felt the impulse to buy it, but considering the facts that a) I don't watch any of the anime series whose characters make up the fighting roster, and b) I don't understand a lick of Japanese I decided not to. Oh, and the price. Ouch.

Has anyone else tried the Revolution for DS (R4DS) slot 1 card yet? I got mine today and love it.

Has anyone tried the new Sonic game for the DS? Opinions? The franchise has seen better days, but Sonic's usually fun in 2D, and I liked the last one for the DS.

I've been hearing a lot about the R4DS as well. But is there any risk of damaging/bricking the DS by using/attempting to use the R4DS? Call me crazy, but I'm thinking of picking up a second (Onyx) DS and using the R4DS with that (I have the Polar White DS). I know I don't need a second one, but I can get one with only $100 out of my store credit, and the Onyx one is damn sexy.

I can't see how there would be a means for it to brick it. It's not like it's changing the firmware on the DS, or, requires you to do so.

I made a tentative deal to buy a supposedly new R4DS package from a guy online (at a site similar to Craigslist). Throwing in a new 1 GB Kingston MicroSD card as well. All for $65 (CDN).

So, is this a good deal? Anyone care to point out things I should watch out for? How to spot fake R4DSs, for example? From what I've read, the fake ones don't have the MicroSD logo on the box or the unit. But should I be aware of any other things (should the box be entirely in English, for example)?
