Funny, I've never actually read any of those letters beyond confirming the title of the game was right. I suspect what they mean is if you end up w/ two copies of the same game, mail one back immediately and then play the other one as usual, mailing it back when you are done. The wording is a bit confusing but I don't think they mean to imply to can keep it.

When you tell them that the lost one showed up, they will put it back in your games out section, it will show 2 rentals out.

Re: The One and Only Gamefly Thread
How is Gamefly with new releases? I'm gong to rent Spider-man SD, but I'm on the fence if I should sign up for GF or just rent it from my local video store.

As long as I have a spot open when a new release comes out then 95% of the time it will ship. I've been doing this for years.

Re: The One and Only Gamefly Thread
I use it, and I have no problems with it. I can't speak to new release availability because I have about 15-20 games in my queue most of the time, so I usually end up with older stuff. It does seem like the newer stuff takes forever to become available, but I'm not sure if that holds true if it's all you have in your queue.

I use it all the time I do two games at a time and sometimes my daughter picks out a game. no complaints. It is nice to rent games that I can't possibly afford to keep up with. Some times I will rent a game and turn around and buy it for a discount. So far all the cases are brand new and still contain their unused online codes. Every once in a while they will pop up with good sales and once again the games may as well be brand new. Sometiems it is hard to get a newer game but if you are patient there is a way to get new release games on a consistent basis. Ask me about it and I will tell you.

Re: The One and Only Gamefly Thread
Once a year they send me one of those "please come back" emails where they give me a month for $1 and I easily remember why stopped using them. They sent out two games to me on Wednesday morning and the mail has already come today and still nothing. The closest shipping center is one state over and I get stuff from the other side of the country all the time and it takes 2-3 days.
