Well my Xbox Premium died after two months; it won't play any games that I put into the DVD drive; I get a white screen and it tells me to put the discs into an xbox console. It will play DVD movies though. What a piece of shit.

The support website updated today finally saying that the device shipped to customer. So my 360 should be on it's way back (Yay!) rough estimate on shipping time? Do they send it back UPS 2-3 day? My luck it will be Monday next week.

So obviously there's a problem with the drives, but what happens when you're out of the 1 year warranty period on non-RROD problems? Artificially creating the RROD will hopefully work.

Started up a multiplayer game of Halo 3 and it froze. Rebooted and it couldn't get past the Xbox 360 screen. Shut it off, pulled the power cord, plugged it back in, rebooted and got this:

mine had a manufactured date of 5/06 I bought it last december and it died a week ago...that is fine, i just returned it to costco and i am using the money to buy the new elite holiday bundle. I actually made money from this!

I'm sorry if this has been talked about before, but are there any warning signs of the RROD? Since I got Halo 3 my console crashes once or twice a night. It happened in the campaign and multiplayer. When it crashes, it mostly just freezes up, however once or twice i've gotten an odd white screen. My Xbox is a launch console, It never had a serious problem until halo 3. I'm hoping it's just a glitch with halo and not a harbinger of things to come.

This is going to sound crazy, but I can't get mine to RROD. I have a launch system, and about a month ago it started acting up. I'm pretty sure it's the video card, but since it's a launch system, the only thing covered under warranty is if it RROD. I have left the system on for over 24 hours at a time and nothing happens. So, ya, that's my problem right now.

I should get my 360 back sometimes next week. I asked them if they can email me to notify me that they shipped and give me the tracking number... They said they're having problem with email system over there and suggested me to check the website with my tag. I checked there with my tag and it says I don't have any system in repair.

Well, I had my 1st game freeze up requiring me to turn the console off today. FUCK! 
I was approaching a "save point" in the game and it just froze. I had to hit the power button on the console.
I was playing an old BC XBOX game that was kinda wonky in terms of the 360 anyway so I'm really hoping it was that and NOT my 3RD 360 going south on me. It's warm in LA today but I was playing with my fan on it but who knows.... The latest console seems to have been running cooler than previous consoles but again, who knows what's going on in there.
< praying that my 3rd 360 isn't in the early stages of going tits up.

I put masking tape on the console itself to write down my reference number. Then I added a few more strips that read:
