Left 4 Dead-8 Player Co-Op

Re: Left 4 Dead-8 Player Co-Op
The commentary was fun, but I don't know if I found every bubble. I thought it was a checklist like "you found 16 of 17" but they are just numbered. You can find the 1/17 bubble and then find the 10/17. They are placed in order, but if you don't pay attention you could skip one and not even notice.

Ok some NEWS...
1. I completed the Commentary for Chapter #1. Really cool stuff. Gonna finish it today.
2. The Update was getting it ready for future updates. Yes I know an update for updates...
3. I have learned that although Valve wanted the DLC to be free, Microsoft will charge $4.99 (400 points I guess) for the DLC coming out soon.
I will pass any news I get.

Oooh ok. I guess people over at xbox.com claim it was a "fix" to stop the game modding on the 360.
And that whole thing with MS charging when developers want to put out free stuff is pretty common.

)

Well FINALLY beat the whole game on expert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just need 4 acheivements to complete my conquest. I'm really not a point whore but since its my favorite game I wanted to get it. FWIW Dead Air is the hardest to complete on expert. 3rd chapter especially. Final chapter at airport not that hard.

You forgot to thank me for helping you reach that goal. After all, if I would have kept playing with you guys, you would have never made it through!

Seriously, though, it was fun playing with you guys Friday night; I'm just not cut out for the Expert run just yet!

Sure. Gamertag is Grendel1974. I'm getting to the point where normal isn't offering as much of a challenge, but expert is still well beyond me (ask Larry C). So yeah, I'm usually available after 8 p.m. central time.

The no damage one I can't see being possible, just because of the Tank. Avoiding Hunter and Smoker damage is doable if you stick together and don't get ambushed by one during a Horde attack.

I managed to get to 'no puke' one by accident (on Single Player, no less). I was doing a Blood Harvest speed run, believe it or not... somehow with all the forest hiding spots in that campaign and running through carelessly I managed to accidentally accomplish what I was unable to do in all my 'careful' runs.

Re: Left 4 Dead-8 Player Co-Op
It's called the "dashboard glitch" and it works as follows:
One person (host) sets up a private game on the last chapter of the campaign. Once the host has loaded the game and is in the beginning safe room, you invite whomever you want into the game while staying in the safe room until they arrive.
The catch is, the people invited in must be in the dashboard of the 360. By loading straight from the dahsboard into the private game, the game assumes that person joining has completed the campaign thus far with essentially zeros in all their stats. Therefore, this means that the person had been barffed on zero times, alerted a witch zero times, has zero damage from the special infected, and has completed the campaign thus far....etc, etc.
This means a couple things; first, the host will recieve no benefit as the game knows you haven't completed the rest of the campaign, and for those joining as long as they follow the achievement guidelines during the final showdown they will get the achievement. And this works for any and all achievements that have to do with completed an entire campaign under certain guidelines, even the expert difficulty ones.
So......
To make this extremely easy on yourself, get four people together and do it on the Dead Air finale. I know this might sound silly, but it really works and you don't have to worry about much.
Have your team get to the turret gun.
If you melee the turret gun for long enough, it turns into (not literally) a springboard that will let you jump up onto the wing of the plane. There is no exact number of hits or timeline that I know of, so you'll have to test it by jumping on the turret. If it sends you shooting across the level and not vertical, just keep hitting it. Its not too long, proabably a minute or two.
Once everyone is on the plane, have the last guy start the gas and jump up himself.
Now pick a partner, face them and melee them until the plane is ready to take off. The reason this helps, is the only zombie that can reach you up there is of course the smoker with his tongue grab. By melee-ing each other you'll knock your friend loose as soon as he is grabbed.
Once the plane is ready to go, just get in the back, and everyone that joined the game will get their achievements. Then just return the favor to the host.
I hope that makes sense.
There is still a few achievements I need to get, so if it doesn't make full sense to you, or you want to see it in action feel free to send me a friend request (Cronatika) and I'll be happy to run one with you guys.
