Love Survivor! Have yet to try the new VS Maps.

I kept running into cheaters on Survival mode too. I dropped into one game and they told me "Run out and grab a taco, Groucho. You'll be here a LOOOOOONG time."

How are people cheating on Survival? Are there just glitches to make it out of the map and therefore safety? I also know that this question can't really be answered, but how is it even fun to just sit somewhere safe while the minutes tick away? It isn't like there is even the fake reward of achievement points.

I just don't get the mentality.

An example would be Dead Air: Runway. The pile of luggage behind the plane is a safe zone (glitch). As long as all survivors are on top of the luggage pile you will see no Tanks and only a few Horde. The survivors have to watch for Smokers or Hunters, which will pull survivors off the pile. It's incredibly boring and I usually leave whenever anyone says, "Jump on the luggage pile, noobs."

Agreed 100%. I can understand if there was an achievement, doing it once to unlock it, but that's it. I'd rather last 3 minutes and have an epic last stand shootout than spend an hour with no real action.

Yea I joined a game where they would jump of a ledge and keep on jumping and grab. It takes you into a part of the map that is not rendered and a safe zone their best time was like an hour. I can't believe they just wasted their time like that.

It's really annoying when you just want to play a game. I even asked the people how it was fun to just sit there and do nothing, but they had no answer. I guess they can brag to their grandchildren, if they ever get laid, about how they survived for an hour on some game they never heard of.

What's worse is the Hospital level where everyone will go around for 15 minutes shooting through every door possible only to hide out in one portion of the hospital the entire time - what the hell was the 15 minute preperation for?!?

Does anyone play any other Map besides The Lighthouse? Shit, I got on with some no talkin' bitches and one guy just hid behind rocks the whole time. The rest of us were slaughtered and he just hid and sat through wave after wave. I got to 6+ minutes and got bored watching him just crouch behind a rock and I left.

I'm pretty sure, as I type this, that they're still watching him hide through waves....

I'll play any of the other freaking maps, it doesn't bother me nearly as much as no-mike players or ones I cannot understand. Hence playing with DVD Talkers is the only way.

If I don't end up playing Marvel Alliance with Justin, Marc and Ken then I'm up for zapping zombies be it either for 2 or 20 minutes no matter the map. It's just fun guys and just have a laugh.

I find playing with anyone from DVD Talk is usually just fine no matter the age which I don't care to get into. Throw my name in as well though I haven't played L$D in over three weeks. I still want to get past the 15min mark in the "horde' mode. On ususally around 8pm central.
