Ones I'm interested in. Bold means I'm likely to buy them at some point... Can't afford them all, so probably will ask for a few for Xmas.

Did they talk about the song choices for Guitar Hero? I don't have a 360 or a PS3 and I'd like to get a GH game, but I'm hoping it's not like the Mario DDR game with almost exclusively video game songs.

As far as I know, it's the same game across all 3 platforms. It's got the same name, so I'd say it's the same game.

I guess maybe this title speaks for the new demographics they've been targeting.

That's good. I wouldn't mind seeing a "Mario Remix" version, but I'd rather play the regular one, at least initially.

I'm looking forward to Mario Kart. I know it isn't many people's favorite, but I really liked the Cube version. Online play will be interesting. It'll help put me back in my place after I unlock everything in the regular game. If it's anything like my online experiences with Tetris DS or Mario Kart: DS, the race will start and my opponent will jet away, which will be the only time I see them for the whole race, unless they manage to lap me.

Not at all. The Wii was made for point and click gaming. I'm just shocked Sam and Max wasn't announced at E3.

There were two things that kept me from putting it higher on my rankings. The camera felt much tougher to keep in the perfect spot, and there was no long jump.

I don't know if the Lucasarts of today is anything like the one that put out Zak McKraken and Maniac Mansion, etc., but I would love to see them put out another point-and-click adventure game, even if they felt the need to make it a Star Wars game.

dont care for the new mario game, doesnt seem as fun with all those small planets, Graphics look good, Hopefully Mario Sunshine will be better. I thought that was a pretty boring mario game. I was really looking forward to Super Paper Mario, looked great in videos, but ended up somewhat a boring game, not enough platforming.

I get the point and click gaming part, it was just that it was Agatha Christie... that just screams senior citizen to me, but, maybe I'm just wrong.

You haven't heard of the grandma gamers Nintendo is courting?

Actually, my wife is fan of Agatha Christie. The games a PC port though, which is a disappointment.

I can't see how Geometry wars would work with Wii controls - outside of two thumbsticks, it would be impossible to play, or really clunky if you use the + button on the wii-mote with the thumbstick on the nunchuck.

They showed how its played on the 1UP Show and its pretty bizarre. You use the thumbstick to control the ship and you point at the screen to direct your fire. Looks impossible to pull off the quick and accurate shooting needed at times to stay alive.
However, they said it will have classic controller support so two thumbsticks will be there.
